Madlib is a living legend. Respect to YOD and I can’t wait for a full project from them! I’m glad the imitation wave is over though, and producers fell back off trying to copy that minimalist / lo-fi sound bcuz there’s very few who can pull it off. Mostly just comes out sounding like everyone’s first garage band beat 😂
