Pile 3. I think you captured it perfectly. For me it was always about the love. I think she wanted to reduce it to sex, which she can understand and control. A rigid family life where love was always conditional and an unhappy marriage made her distrustful of love. So she dismisses what has passed between us and manages her emotions with antidepressants. Pile 2 ~ I tried so hard to get things right between us by having him to see his behavior in the relationship. I would stay in a rational state of mind and just try to talk to him heart to heart about it, but he kept making things painful. I believed we were good for each other and together could make it out of our tuff times we were going through in life at the time, but instead we came to an end and then had to take on the tuff times without each other. I went on a journey of healing and forgiveness and hoped that he would drop that pride and ego and reach out with an apology. That's all I wanted... but it never came and it's been over 2 1/2 years. I of course wondered if he had been managing ok. I really was the only one in his life that gave him real love because he comes from a family which he says mistreated him badly. Pile 3: I met my person as a friend. She was going through a breakup w/ her ex, but we connected and I began to feel that magic. After a few months I told her how I felt. She said no, but she agreed to not rule it out. We sent intentions to connect in the future. We also live in different nearby states. She could have it all w/ me, but I can tell she’s struggling. Kate, you are blowing my MIND!! I chose Pile 2, and the person I'm asking about is turning 40 in 2024. When we starting dating he was 37 and still had some immature energy and was kind of arrogant and messy with feelings. I was in my late 40s and had already gone through a midlife crisis and a humbling process. He had a lot of good qualities, but he would revert to acting like a dumb kid rather than leaning into intimacy. It was hard for him to show a sense of honoring me or respecting my depth and all that I have been through. He ended up running away. He apologized for running and for being so frustrating in the relationship. He said he was leaving because I deserved someone more on my level. I felt that he was making excuses and he was running away from deep feelings, challenges and truths. It was very, very sudden and painful. Eventually I went no-contact with him because it was triggering to even receive a friendly text from him. But recently I had this thought pop into my head, "Omg X is 39 now, I bet he's starting to freak out. Turning 40 is going to bring him to his knees. And when he turns 40 he will suddenly feel very humbled. He will understand much more about where I was coming from, and he will feel stupid for acting so cavalier and immature with me." It was this sudden epiphany. And this reading is totally validated this sense I had. Wow!! I am glad he's sorry, because he really turned my word upside down. He was a tower moment for me, and now I feel his is about to experience his own tower moment. And I could have been there for him to guide him through, because I already went through it. If he reaches out, it will be fascinating. I wish him luck because turning 40 is intense enough, but when you have been running from your feelings your whole life, your 40s will drag you kicking and screaming back into the heard of all of that repressed content.

Pile 2, and you absolutely nailed my story. TLDR: a close friend got pregnant at 40 and became a monster that preferred to take her stress out on her partner and parents over seeking help, despite my many offers to assist. I finally put my foot down and she got really nasty. She probably feels I owe her an apology because I put my foot down before Christmas Eve and therefore did not participate in her big production. BUT she’s probably realized by now that I acted in good faith, has more than likely got shut down when dragging my name to others, and has maybe started to realize the truth. Hopefully she is now inspired to make positive changes, but now she has to do it alone because I doubt very much that her pride will dissolve any time soon, and no one else in her life has the bandwidth. Story: I have a longtime friend that feels so much like a sister. Just a couple days before her 40th birthday, she found out she was pregnant. Throughout her pregnancy , she became more and more emotionally explosive and less and less able to humble/ease herself. And since she gave birth over a year ago, she has gotten even worse, to the point of verbally abusing her parents and her child’s father. We have all shown her as much honesty, patience , and support as possible, but it only seems to enable her. During this time, I’ve been the only one who has been able to approach her, talk her down and ground her. I’ve been talking to her regularly about her mental health and that I’ll do whatever it takes to help her better handle stress, whether it’s making appointments, driving her to appointments, etc….she doesn’t accept my offers. I’ve been bringing her supplements like ashwaganda, magnesium, kava, other otc options to help provide even slight relief…she won’t take them. When I talk to her about her stress, she claims she has a right to feel certain ways. When I point out that yes she’s entitled to her opinions and feelings but how she expresses them affects others, she then lashes out at me. When I defend someone else outright, she plays the “oh so I’m always the bad guy” card. Fast forward to Christmas Eve, and I hate the idea of going. I just need to protect my peace, so I tell her I can’t go because I’m feeling depressed. She kept insisting I tell her what’s wrong, and after trying to dodge the subject, I let her know that there has been a lot of high emotion and anger the last few times I’ve come over, and I’d rather take it easy that night and see her after the new year. She knew immediately what I was referring to and admitted to being explosive as well as triggered by her mother (her own words) but started to “what about you” me, which I didn’t feed into. I apologized for not being able to go, and that I understood this would be hard for her to hear and it’s just too bad that the timing was Christmas. We got off the phone, but she began a barrage of ugly messages, bringing up mistakes/problems from 15 years ago to recent, to which I pointed out that none of things involved treating others the way she did her own family. She also tried to twist and manipulate certain truths and I told her firmly that she couldn’t gaslight me, that I was foregoing one night not exiting her life, and reiterated that I would be there to help her on the journey to feeling better whenever she was ready. That sent her further off the edge, she said some even uglier things, said she wanted a break from me, and of course I obliged. Knowing her, she has loudly complained about me and has been shut down enough to start wondering if she was wrong. By now, she has shared and reread our text conversation and is starting to feel bad about how she reacted. But she won’t apologize any time soon. I truly hope that she addresses her stress before she starts to lose more people. And once she finally does, she’ll realize how far she has to go and that she once had a friend who wanted to stand by her while she faced her demons. So we’ll see if she can get past her pride then.

Holy Cr#p !!! I asked my higher self to connect with hers to guide me to the correct pile for a message. I "saw" pile 2, and specifically about 2/3rds the way through. (And also something more superficially about Pile 3 in general.) I felt to look at/ aim for about minute 52 in Pile 2. - That's where i went first, starting after 51:00. Around 51:30 you said your person is or has turned 40, and you repeated it a few times saying they're going through a major event / change. 💥🙏🏾🌠🌟 My person is 40. She turned 40 last October. She was going through major stuff 3 years ago when she ghosted me.
