One really interesting thing about this posture is its effect on the root locks. I almost always meditate in the Siddhasana posture with the left heel in the taint, as it were. As the root lock is employed, the throat lock will happen automatically - a very excellent feeling. This will deepen the meditative state and has help my Kriya practice a ton. I was a lotus guy for decades until I found this posture!

posture can definitely alter the mind!!! i remember when i was 16 years old back in 1994... i developed a technique i learnt later in life that is called in Tibet "Evening or Black Elephant.." it was my only resolve i could think of by will of The Most High "I AM".. in order to continue in my existence willingly... according to my 16 year old mind.. how to punch so hard i break my arm in-order to protect or others with wind force alone... years i spent in my mind knowing my hidden technique i invented only to learn.. the technique existed already in Tibet.. and i learnt this watchin Japanese graphic novels.. i couldnt believe my eyes when i saw it like wth.. how? how did they know.. then i realized.. im not original... so posture is a big deal... when electromagnetic energy of the minds will is involved.. or emotional brain matter.. in the front top of the head..
