My favourite thing about you (and I'm not discounting everything else...really amazing) is the restraint and maturity you exhibit when you play. It's clear you could play many more notes and stuff but you just always try to play to complement the whole song ad never attempt to take over the experience. Excellent. You are talented beyond your years, my friend. You have a true gift. I'm 47 and play this kind of music along with tons of jazz and anything else. Don't take that amazing talent for granted. Never settle for where you are as a drummer. Keep playing for God and His kingdom, even playing out for $400 and $500 for an hours worth of work isn't as gratifying as playing for hours for nothing in church. Trust me, I've done both. It was nice to see and hear you play with restraint on this track, you didn't overplay anything at all, but yet your presence was felt in the song. What drums, cymbals, pedals, and hardware are you using??? I play a 4 piece Tama Starclassic Bubinga kit, not a Birch/Bubinga. I play Zildjian K cymbals...14" fast crash, 15" dark crash, 9" K Hybrid splash, 11" Hybrid splash, 22" K Custom ride, and 13.25 K Hybrid hats. My snare is a 4x14 Brady snare. No offense, but I believe Brady makes the best out there. Don't knock it until you try them. I have a Tama 1st Chair throne, Tama Iron Cobra kick pedal (single) Tama Midnight Limited Edition Speed Cobra double pedal, only 90 sent to the US, and all Tama Starclassic hardware.
