I am a black American who lives in Munich, Germany (where Angela and Max spend most of their time). As I am quite active on the Munich society "circuit", I have had the chance to become acquainted with Princess Angela (full name Angela Brown, Prinzessin von und zu Liechtenstein) and she and Max are just normal, well-adjusted and down-to-earth people. We bump into each other every now and again at various events / functions and it's always a pleasure! JM

I would encourage Black Women to make sure no matter what race the man that he respects you and treat you well that marriage to the Man should be a the goal. She married into the richest European royal family. They're richer than Queen Elizabeth and all the Windsors... Yeah, THAT'S how rich they are. I love it when all these highly educated, successful, independent women with lives of their own like Angela Brown, Maxima Zorreguieta, Mary Donaldson, Letizia Ortiz, Marie Cavallier, end up marrying princes. :D They are such an advantage to their countries.

What I love about this story is that this happened to Angela later in life, she was 38yrs old when she got married. This gives hope to all the older ladies that love is still out there for women of all ages.

As some here have commented, its astounding that Princess Angela hasn't been profiled more for the benefit of the black community. Where are the Ebony, Jet and other black magazine layouts on Angela? Why hasn't Oprah--to my knowledge-- mentioned her? What Angela has done is a first in the black community. You know how hard it is to join any royal family? It's hard enough for a white commoner, let alone a black one! Angela's story is definitely a fascinating one that deserves more coverage.

My god-mother haunty who dies in the 80s had the privilege to be burried in their royal exclusive cimetery. This princes are truly loved by their cityzens and the country is a perfect place to visit. I grow up in an aristocratic entourage, both god father and mother are baron and countess, my friends too and i never experienced racism or disrespecting. My parents left ethiopia when the monarch was killed and their friends helped them to settle down in tuscany.All came from noble families.I m happy for This prince couple and the image that show to the world . You would be surprised to see how educated and modern this families are.

The princely family of Liechtenstein is also old school, discreet,refined and not interested in being in the limelight. Princess Angela's name is usually listed as an invited guest to royal weddings, social events and uppercrust gatherings in Europe.The entire family even had a hearing at the Vatican with Pope Benedict XVI. Princess Angela, a beautiful and refined Afro Panamanian woman fits in very well into this marvelous family.

I am from the same place that Princess Angela is from. Some of her relatives still reside in Panama . Her aunt even received an honor from one of the black organizations over there. I am pretty sure Princess Angela of Liechtenstein, born in the beautiful, idyllic, paradise province of Bocas de Toro on Panama's enchanting Atlanctic coast is proud of her black Panamanian roots.

The Liechtenstein family has always been notoriously private, so they aren't publicized in general. They are quite conservative and prefer to stay out of the media spotlight as much as possible. They aren't scandalous like most royal European families are these days.

@prettyroyelle The Spanish speaking media has written more about Princess Angela than the American press. Most of the info about her is in Spanish.If you google her name in Spanish, lots of information comes up.Panama was the first to print her engagement,wedding, when Prince Alfons was born and when he started school. I don't think she is into giving interviews. But nothing is stopping anyone from writing about her .

Having the right friednds and being with the right crowd is vital to meeting elite men. I believe the reason Essence , Jet , Oprah and any other of the black talking heads have not commented on Princess Angela is because she is not African American. Princess Angela is Panamanian. The Panamanian press has written a lot about the her and I have read articles in European magazines. "Hola", a magazine that is into royalty and geared towards the Spanish speaking world did an article on her.The United States of America is not the entire world.

I can't get over how lucky Angela was. Not that she doesn't have many qualities, she is obviously beautiful, classy and intelligent, but to hitch a prince is no easy matter. Can you just imagine how many women were after this prince and Angela got him? On another note, I bet that she was the type of woman who didn't settle for any loser like so many women do. By the way, their child is very beautiful. As someone else point out, I love his little German outfit.
