The Villages is only as big as you want it to be. I live between Lake Sumter and Spanish Springs so that pretty much were I hang out. There my favorite to Squares, anything I need or want to to by is in my area. I shop at Publix in Spanish Springs and eat at most the restaurants in Lake Sumter. Like to take my walks on the Lake Sumter boardwalk 3 laps. If I want to go to Brownwood I will. Like I said it’s only as big as you want it to be.

I saw the video of the man who had bought in Richmond and it was my understanding that it wasn't corporations who had bought the other homes on his street but individuals who bought homes there as investment properties, or a 2nd home. I think Richmond's close proximity to Brownwood Paddock Square made it more of an issue there than other Villages.

Hi Jan and Debbie..thanks for your videos ..I am excited to tell you that we have been fortunate enough to book a lifestyle visit for April 15. Very excited. I think this 70s gal will like the North but hubby is looking south..maybe we can find somewhere in the middle 😂

I saw the video wherein the gentleman who purchased a villa in a neighborhood where every house other than his was a rental. It didn’t state the homes were owned by a corporation/corporations specifically, if memory serves me. He was a very kind man. He did indicate that he would never have purchased the property had he known this. However, he also stated that his neighbors, so far, have been very pleasant.

I adore your KZbin channel and watch you regularly! Question: Has there been any talk about an indoor track or an indoor pool, like Top of the World for Villagers who have skin cancer issues?

Hi Rebecca! Thank you so much! We have not heard anything about an indoor facility. Eastport will have an indoor sports facility. So far the rumors have been indoor pickleball. TV tends to release things a little at a time. We will keep you posted as we hear! Thanks for watching!

There is 3 hot tubs in the Villages. 2 are at the County Clubs and there is only one hot tub that every resident can use..it is on the historic side called South Side Pool!! No priority pool needed!! Mr Schwarts put it in due to his back problems. It was going last time I checked.

Buying one of the new homes for me was a deal breaker when I found out the bonds are 40 grand. It might be a winter home so with financing that bond would double over time. No thanks. Not interested. If investors don’t buy up the houses in the new areas, I think there would be a problem. That’s why I assume The Villages will put no stipulations in renting.
