I finished this game yday. I never watched a single playthrough and went in blind. The fact that it was a short game with a dark twist, its actually a wholesome realization between their reality and our reality. I understand that Monika did all this because she wasn't destined to have a ending with the player, instead she created her own. But, by doing so, she hurt the people she actually cared about, she realized she didn't want that, instead she finally had to let us go. Its twisted in a sad way, but she finally let the one she loved go, the Literature club. I had such a fun time playing this game! This game has made me shit my pants and cry my eyes out. This message hits hard, and ill never forget the literature club. Now I've gotten into poetry! I found my creative outlet, thank you DDLC.

The depth in this song is NUTS. I could write like a 2 page analysis purely on this song and its relation to Monika's character. This song describes Monika's character and gives SO much depth to her. It's crazy how no one is talking about or analyzing this song. Honestly I think it's reasonable to feel bad for her, she deleted the others files from the game but she kept back ups because she didn't have the heart to fully get rid of her friends, and she even sacrificed herself at the end and brought back the others. Imagine being in her position, it'd be terrible knowing that you're the ONLY real person in your world, and as soon as another one comes along, you can't have him. Her deleting the others was a lonely and desperate move, but she didn't even go through with it

Many people get Monika wrong for being the antagonist. And it saddens me in a way. She was very much self aware her world wasn't real, and tried everything to get to us. Yet, things didn't really go as she planned, and it happened to be executed very disturbingly. Which then led her into a realization that, no matter what you do, there was no way out of the game. No matter how much she changes others, they will still remain to love the MC. It was programmed that way. Yet despite knowing her world wasn't real, she still wasn't able to completely delete her friends as they were real to her.

Monika is clearly one of the most emotional character ever made in history, her life is so sad I can't even imagine how hard it has to be to know about your fictional condition and to love a person that doesn't exist in your World someone that you don't really know how to love. Someone for whom you would destroy his game's experience just to be a part of his life but also for whom you would torture and killed those who used to be your closest friends before you understood what you really are... I can't imagine how hard it should be.

Since I'm having a vacation I've been trying to calm down from being excited. I was singing/listening to this song on loop, and because I was listening to it for so long, I kinda started understanding the meaning of the lyrics. Whenever I was listening to it a long time ago, I just listened for fun. But understanding the lyrics actually made me cry. I went to my dog, and that made me cry even more. And I feel like it helped, I haven't ever really relaxed before, but this song helped me relax. I honestly didn't know what I was feeling. Alot of emotion is all I knew. But thanks for making this. She didn't mean to kill sayori, her death was a side effect of monikas tampering, same with yuri and natsuki was deleted, not really killed. She never been intended to kill yuri and sayori. She says that in her thought lines. She also feels remorse, as shown by this song.
