Despite the contrary, most Georgia fans treat Tennessee as a rival. Their two big rivals are Florida and Tennessee when it comes to passion. I went to UGA on a campus visit and I am from Tennessee, they talked about UT Vols all the time. When you are in their staff's head, it means it is a big deal (granted, I am older and this was during the Fulmer era). Georgia talks about Auburn and GT like Tennessee does UK and Vandy, sure they are the "historical" rivals but both want to beat the other more.

FSU is such a cautionary tale. The ACC made a huge academic exception in exchange for FSU to remain a consistent football tentpole, which it has failed to do over the past decade. At the start of this realignment, it was no higher than the 4th and the 3rd expansion target priority in the ACC for the B1G and SEC (respectively), but its actions may have eliminated any interest. The ACC now wants FSU gone, and the BIG12 may not even want to risk the poison or constant flight risk.

Tennessee fan here and I think you’ve got the wrong take here on Tennessee. First of all our coach shouldn’t care what other fans think about his choice to do that onside kick. His duty is to the university of Tennessee and it’s fans. That onside kick was completely unexpected and ruthless. As a fan it caught me off guard completely and I loved it. Josh and our team were playing a nobody but they were putting on a show for the fans who showed up to support their team. We scored 65 by the half and ended at 71. We put the brakes on and showed grace. Josh shows respect to these teams by not underestimating them. We’re not playing with our food like some teams have done early in the season. I think that’s a difference between an elite team/ program. Never underestimate your opponent. I say this knowing our past including some select games under josh but he’s not staying stagnant. As a UK fan Lou, and I know you'd probably disagree and that's fine, but I'm seriously thinking the Mark Stoops is on if not on the verge of being on the hot seat cuz I can't FATHOM why in the flying **** he'd punt on 4 & 8 in UGA territory and not at least TRY to win the game! Stoops has never been a big risk taker and always seems to play to lose and that right there I think just cost us the game and so many others in the past.. I know UGA played bad and that alone is the reason why it was close to begin with, but there's some serious issues with Mark's coaching decisions when it matters most in close games these last few years and given how much he's being paid many fans in the bluegrass wonder why we're paying the guy 9 mil for mediocre, or in this year's case so far, BAD Kentucky football teams. I mean I know he brought UK football out of the grave and gave us two ten win seasons and has produced quite a bit of NFL talent, but that might have made him a victim of his own success because I know the fans want more out of the program and to at least make NY6 bowl. I just don't think he's the guy to do it anymore, but I'm also not sure anyone else we could get could maintain the level of success he's brought to the program.

If it was 4th and 4 or less I think you have to go for it there but asking the UK offense to get 8 yards on that UGA defense would have been a big ask. Was it more or less likely the defense forcing a 3 and out? I don't know either but I think it's debatable enough that I couldn't be too mad either way tbh.

I remember attending Tennessee Vol games in 2003- 2010 I remember watching home games when UGA beat us 42-14, or when Bama beat us into submission. I remember walking back to the parking lot after those loses as well. Yall remember when Vols lost to Georgia State in 2019 or the train wreck that was 2020? It's been hard but I've stayed loyal.

I don’t mind it as much this year. We have a right to be confident and overly optimistic in this team. I went to Tennessee from 04-10 - religiously followed them, we’ve had to eat humble pie every year since then. Bad coaches, lackluster teams, blowouts against our top rivals. This is a great year - the facts, analysis, and team performance to date fully supports the entire Tennessee fan base being confident in almost every game we play this year. Go Vols!

This dude is a super star, but the important thing love him or hate but must respect him. He uses common sense crossed with great feelings for the way to play and the way a program should be run, good grasp on NIL and recruiting with a touch old school and modern approach to and very underestimated as having the cordnaters down to a tee. Offence or Defence doesn't matter. We all watch U.L do it every week game after game. Just saying if name was Deon Sanders Colorado would be a major player in that conference yr after yr.. with those resources Colorado has, and puts in to the program... And the REAL TRUE Buff fan Ralphy would EAT with out a doubt. Of course would recruit like Prime Time. Point being how in the hell does some people make millions to Represent said respected University also for parents to buy in and trust their pride and joy (Son) with. Now with the amount of scholarships the day of the walk on is over pretty much. Why aren't that a such thing is walk on try outs for head Coaches. I'm my humble opinion FSU ought to hold open try out for intern coach to show the donor's and fans that the administration is committed to the program and a winning program at that. But I agree your 💯 right about them not having the $ to fire the Coach. However that should be a huge warning to EVERYONE especially if you live in the St of Fla better stay on your p & Q because with a coach as bad as him and a University that enjoys sueing like FSU someone no ALOT of people are gonna lose their retirements this yr because Jim Bo Fisher will be the Noles lawyer, I mean coach by the start of the 25 season and will probably have to put bid the Gators. So they might not be dangerous on the field but they are or at least think they are but they are still in the ACC and haven't they said they was leaving right before that bowl game last yr you know the one they said didn't count when UGA beat them 700 to I don't even know if they even scored cause it didn't matter so they didn't even try we all saw that.. For real I think FSU has plenty of talent this year outside QBI and he needs to go back out west where defense is optional and hand the ball off. Definitely for the games they have played and the conference they aren't in any longer... ALOT of time I hate the transfer portal but no one for any reason should have to play for Novel and FSU more then 12 games not this is the program that sued the M&M commercial in the National Championship game. I know Fisher has chip as HC but everyone except the Administration agrees with Lou that Jim Bo is a 3yr coach no matter witch Fla Schools he holds up .... And by the way speaking of head Coaches when did it ever come leagle to steal in OUR GREAT COUNTRY???? If a momma God forbid has to go in Walmart to steal milk to feed her twins gets caught they go to jail, but these coaches ruin athletes experiences not to mention a yr of eligibility hell basically their life by the dedication most of these ball players and good coaches and staff put in. Most bad coaches is lieing and giving another fan base false hope and reminded donors witch in today's time is essential where and who to address check.... Why the hell do we except this 💩 and pay that much $ for continueing to lie in the press conference... Lastly I'm sorry drank way to much tonight. But lastly we must remember Tenn finally won a Championship this yr.. Tinnes , volleyball or something saw it in the crawdad times news paper ....pulse there name was in a song sometimes GO DOLS shower Arch should have came to Rocky TALK...........

I have a lot of family that are Kentucky fans and I don’t know if they speak for the whole fanbase, but seems like their general feeling is that stoops dribbled down his leg and didn’t have the nads to take a chance on that 4th down and they seem to be saying that’s a microcosm of Kentucky football as a whole.

Man I know it’s largely trolling, but sometimes Lous takes on Tennessee just frustrate me If you watch that onsides kick, look at the wide ass gap Kent State left on the field. They did that to themselves. I coach football, albeit at a high school level, but you only get true live reps once a week for 12 weeks. When these schools play this tiny programs and you have the ability to practice an onside kick live, you’re gonna take it. Sure does it look shitty, absolutely. Is it good sportsmanship? No not at all. But what it does is show the staff what their guys are capable of doing if the situation presented itself and you get to practice it in a live game situation. Also, it’s the defenses job to stop the offense. If you can’t, sorry bout it. Do better. You don’t see Lou saying this about UGA beating FSU 100-0 in the orange bowl. Same rules apply. But that’s just my opinion. Enjoy the videos as always

Most of the talk going into the game will be about the two teams' strength on strength (GA defense vs bama offense). The deciding factor though, I think, will be between the GA offense & bama defense. Whichever unit wins that battle, wins the game for their team.
