#2 about to turn 50 and after half a century of struggling with my looks and issues around my body.... I've lost 136 pounds (took 5 years but I did it! And I'm still into taking care of myself). I feel like I'm aging backwards and I had to giggle when you said... go away if you have issues about your body.... I'd put it more gently because I know the struggle but yes.... get over it! It's amazing when you feel free of body image isues! (and it actually makes you look better just because you give off "I feel beautiful" energy) Obviously, I don't have a supermodel bod but people think I'm in my 30's and I refuse to be ashamed of my age so I'm always honest with pride... I earned every year in that number! Just the fact that I know the battle I've been through to have the body I have now.... the lumps, bumps and "battle scars" I send gratitude, accept them most days... some days I love them and days I feel less confident I just remember the journey and can at least not feel ugly or too bad about it. I live in Mexico and saw a dress I instantly loved in a hole in the wall lotteria shop (they sell lottery cards and had like 20 pieces of clothing in the extra space in the office.) I asked the size and the lady said, "It's very small like for a girl 14 or 15" That's not a size and it was so high on the wall it was impossible to tell so I asked her if I could see it.... I then tried on and bought the dress that was suppossedly so small only a 15 year old could wear it. Apparently it fits tiny 14 or 15 year old girls and a 50 year old, very tall and voluptuous American. Tee hee. She was smiling and impressed...or just happy she made a sale...?
