A much needed conversation. Praying for the next generation of mums becauseee (speaking from my experience) getting them to even acknowledge the role they sometimes play in sibling rilvary is close to impossible.

The girl who is a twin calling his brother my man, will most probably be the problematic sister in law. Also, might end up having relationship problems because she's looking for his bro in every relationship. Anywho, they're both young, probably some things will shed as she matures. No hate, just a strangers opinion

I am so thankful for all the episodes which i have most of the time identified with and realized that i am not the only one who faced and still facing abuse, trauma or dysfunctional family situations. By listening to your shows, i am finally able to analyze my life and point out why certain dysfunctionalities are there in our families, how they came about and what is the way forward. You have completely helped me unravel all the mysteries and guilt feelings towards abusive and toxic family members when i draw serious boundaries from them. I have also learnt and realized why i am the way i am and how i can change that through therapy to live a truly authentic life and relate better in my future relationships.

It's so true what you beautiful ladies are saying about the role that mothers play in creating unity between siblings. I remember when I was about 6 years of age, my sister who is older than me was asked by my aunt to be a flower girl on her wedding and I wasn't. On the way home a few days from the wedding I remember asking my aunt in front of my mum why she only wanted my sister as her flower girl. From then my mum used to ensure that whoever wanted either me or my sister to be a flower girl would take both of us. She also used to plait us the same hairstyle, buy us the same clothes which made us feel like twins till today.

I relate with Joan about not being able to have ''really close'' male friends.🤭 I can't do it. My only male close friend is my husband. key word ''close''.

I love TMI because its totally relatable, in all fronts , just when you thought you were going through it alone , you realize that mko wengi and that gives you the courage to push further because of the encouraging success stories that you see of people in similar situations or even just the feeling of ' im not alone ' ❤❤I love TMI

@@doctordeeMhey, I can totally relate to this. It's so heavy and emotional at the same time.. Take your time. Don't make any decisions right now. Don't judge yourself for not talking to either of them.. Apart from being a sibling to someone, you still have your own life to live. Love from a distance. Love and guard your heart.. Personally I cut any kind of communication, because I need to heal.. I need to love me first. And no regrets so far

Gen Z here, my younger sister when we were growing up used to be a big snitch on everyone at home. Including the house help, I one day went and told her ' I hate you so much and you're not my sister anymore '. I was in boarding at the time, so I was only home for a month at a time, I didn't talk to her for almost a year and a half. What led to this is that she went and told our mom that I did something, which of course I did, but did she really have to snitch? Maan.... She's doing better though with that. I one day snitched on her too, so that she could feel how it felt. She did.

Since birth, I was a smart child. In the streets, school and everywhere, I was very smart. I didnt realise it created a resentment on my Very many siblings when my Mom constantly reminded them that I was indeed smarter than any of them until when I was in campus and I heard my brother complain that I was supposed to give back home so much more because alot of resources had been used in my academic journey Mahn, I am going through it trying to fix everything!

So kwetu hakuna loving from a distance even if you run away they will follow you there

I feel like basing it from the first comment from the lady that sometimes you literally understand the situation but you just choose to love at a distance . E.g my siblings we aint close but i already accepted unless its transactional . I dealt with it and once i tried having that conversation it became fire i almost lost them so i chose yer lets remain siblings but that extreme closeness no. Lets love each from a far we can call each other ,we can text but too much together no. I feel sometimes lets not talk about it

Heey , you looking gorgeous girls...I am the youngest sister among the 5 of us....I am not so close to my first 3 big sisters because we have a biiig age gap and most of my life we never stayed in one house for long...The one i follow, we are 2 yrs apart and we have an amazing relationship.....For a long time, it was just the two of us, she always looked out for me till now, i always feel so bonded to her. Back to my 3 big sisters, they were raised by my grandparents coz of unavoidable circumstances and they kind a inherited the toxic side of our grandparents...They tend to be so controlling and always have an opinion about what we the younger sisters do. I am ok with them , we dont talk much but their is no bad blood, we can exist in the same environment😂😂but i keep my distance to avoid their domineering attitude The age difference makes it even worse😂😂Gen Z and millenials. There are things we cant relate ...but yeah we coexist
