great stuff! i have noticed that things like slides and pull offs and such, can make a huge difference in how the lick sounds, the feel, the vibe, the rhythm and dynamics of it. A lick can sound totally fine, even great, if done with, for example, a slide in a particular spot. but if you do it with, let's say, you fret the note instead, then it loses its magic and doesn't sound right! anyway, keep on pickin peeps.
