As an emotional person i would have cried in an instant, This shows so much about boundaries when he mentioned about the listeners past relationships just drew the line. He was allowed to voice out his opinion, He was allowed to voice his frustration but it is never okay to bring up one's past trauma into the table just because your frustrated, Both of them are in the wrong I'm not being. biased.

💗Please read all and give me your opinion💗 "About the argument" I know that people can blow at any time when they're angry, on those comments a lot of people say they'd probably end up the relationship if it happened to them but I'm still trying to figure out what should be done in that situation, because isn't it what love is about ? Love, forgiveness, respect, caring ? We all concerned he really was disrespectful with his lover, also we have the information that's not what he truly feels but an enormous error , he was upset and just blew into someone who didn't deserve it. When he realizes his mistake he goes ask for forgiveness and the lover don't forgive immediately but let him explain himself and they talk bout that. Maybe the point is that he is really sorry for what he did and that's why they didn't broke up, their love and the way they were clear about their feelling, wouldn't let all the love and memories go to dust, just cause of an error.

@@whyu-oq3du I completely agree with you and your opinion. Anger is an emotional outburst that sometimes we can’t control, especially when stressed. It won’t be surprising when a person instantly say something as hurtful as that when they are angry, The only thing He can do in this situation is to *apologize* and be *understanding* towards listener. What I find intriguing is the fact that people instantly take quick action without straightforward thinking. Although, I guess the comment’s Reaction to this is no surprise as well, I mean, he instantly said something that could potentially hurt the listener emotionally. (Not defending the speaker here, he was in the wrong too)

why y'all mad about the listener? ok, I know that when I ask to be alone, I like to be alone. But I'm also that clingy kind of person. In this situation, the listener knew that their partner was in a bad mood recently, they were just excited to show him their surprise to cheer him up. It's their love language, their way to show him were inconsiderate but nothing mean. They were both in wrong, but still 😔 I'M STILL CRYING ABOUT THE EX'S PART because everyday I'm so scared that my future (yeah because I'm still single-) boyfriend will break up with me because I'm that kind of person who can be very clingy.

the listener should know bounderies. they broke a boundary for their own sake. that isn’t a loving partner. you’re love language doesn’t come before your partners emotions. so if ur partner tells you to leave them alone doesn’t matter WHAT you want to do with them LEAVE THEM ALONE
@notawtistic
@notawtistic Жыл бұрын
@@itzray45 Leaving your partner alone when angry isn’t always the best choice, even when they tell you to. I completely see both sides, and if I were to choose a side, it’d definitely be the listener’s. Trying to cheer your partner up is NOT crossing a boundary at all.
@itzray45
@itzray45 Жыл бұрын
@@notawtistic when your partner is very obviously upset it IS best to leave them alone. idk who told you it isn’t? it’s always better to let them calm down THEN pry them on how they are feeling. not as they are in the middle of it. when someone tells you to LEAVE THEM ALONE. then LEAVE THEM ALONE. they are clearly telling you to leave them be because they aren’t in the right mind to deal with people. MEANING THEY ARE IRRATIONAL.
@Hollow__Art
@Hollow__Art Жыл бұрын
Truthfully I can agree with both parts. In some cases, leaving someone who is mad alone could make them feel even worse even when they ask to be left alone. In the case of this video though, it's the opposite. It's also important to know not to ask too many times if someone is okay in these situations. Ask a few times, like three or four at most, then tell them about anything you have that could make them feel better before leaving them alone as they've asked. I know that when I feel mad, I at least want company even if I say for everyone to leave me alone. That company and knowing I feel heard about my angers makes me feel better faster than if I was alone. Like I said before though, this isn't the case for everyone.

I can’t believe this is still being debated. Y’all saying that the listener deserved that? You ARE red flags. It is stated in the audio “they opened up to me about their ex” confirming what was already obvious, trauma. Being broken up with because you’re “too clingy” translates to: “You’re too much” “you should change in order to be loved” “you don’t deserve love because of who you are”. That is a SUPER traumatic experience. Was the Listener being pushy? Yes, they were. Should they have left the Speaker alone? Yes, they should have. Was the Speaker rightfully angry? Yes, he was. HOWEVER. It doesn’t matter how angry you are at someone you never, and I mean NEVER, use their trauma against them. Was the Speaker allowed to be angry? Yes. He was allowed to be angry, to yell, to cuss and be mean. I would have been able to even justify him being a bit hurtful. But using a traumatic experience against someone that confide in you with it is Crossing the line in a way I can’t even describe. Because what this Listener heard when he said “no wonder he broke up with you” wasn’t: “You are pushing too hard”. They heard: “You ARE too much” “you HAVE to change to be loved” “You DO NOT deserve to be loved because of who you are”. Was the Listener being too pushy and they should have stopped insisting? Yes. Did they deserve to have their trauma used against them by the person they trusted it with? No. ABSOLUTELY NOT. End of discussion. Edit: Because I just gave up having a conversation with some clearly toxic people in other comments I ask for all of you to stay safe. Anyone saying this to you is wrong but obviously not a big deal if handled properly, growth can happen from both sides if both parties are willing to make their relationship and coping mechanisms work together so that bad behaviour doesn’t trigger a worse response. Anyone, however, insisting that your trauma isn’t real or valid or trying to convince you that you’re manipulative for having emotions? Yeah. Run away. They be outing themselves like the red flags they are in this comment section. SMH.

I mean I can't really blame him for snapping. When someone tells you they need space and to leave them alone just leave. Edit : For the delusional people who refuse to take any accountability for their actions and realize that they're not the victim in every situation, here is how many times he said he wants to be alone before he brought up the ex, for 2 whole mins he was literally begging to be left alone. 1) I'd rather be alone rn please 2) I really wanna be alone rn 3) can u just leave me be 4) honey,... Please leave me alone 5) * he started to get more angry* I just wanna be left alone 6) I want some space 7) please please for the love of! Leave me tf alone 8) you're not helping my situation here 9) I can't fucking deal with this rn 10) no you can't sit and think with me 11) can you leave me the hell alone for just a min. When someone, whether it's your partner or a friend or anyone else, is overwhelmed and at their limit, and they ask you to leave them alone (especially if they say it more than once), yet you still choose to push and keep pushing until they break and snap, and then you wanna play the little innocent victim who didn't do anything wrong, then you have to realize you're toxic and manipulative and YOU owe them a sincere apology. If you think the listener did nothing wrong and "was trying to help" then you're either too young and still have a lot of growing up to do or you're an adult who lack emotional maturity and self awareness.

I’m glad that I’ll never be in this situation with my husband because I will hear him say “I want to be alone.” And I’ll ask “alone alone? Or together but silent?” And then we do whatever he picks. Because that’s what I would want. And I would do it the first time he said he wanted to be alone. Fuck whatever I wanted to show him he’s the important part of my life.

when someone tell you to leave them alone, stop being pushy and leave them tf alone. sometimes people are just overwhelmed and wants to calm down alone. i get why he is snapping. i don’t blame him for snapping but he is wrong for using someone’s trauma like that. both people fucked up here

I havnt even been in a really serious relationship before, and the one I was in wasn’t that bad. But all that he said really ticked me off and almost made me tear up. Absolutely not, would’ve went to bed room and packed my things. He could watch me leave. He doubled down in the insults, “did that trigger you?” I thought he was about to apologize, but nope! Doubled down and made it worse. So glad listener said “you can’t hold us rn” I was still ticked off at the end 😅
