Family! I really hope you enjoy today’s conversation with our good friend & guest Annie F. Downs as much as we did recording it 🤭 Not only is she one of the most fun people you’ll ever meet but after hearing more about her story & how faithful God has been in her life through every expected detour, you’re guaranteed to leave feeling encouraged, excited & full of faith in whatever season you’re in! So grab a coffee & get comfy as we dive into today’s convo & remember this:
God is a God that FULFILLS His promises.
He is not like man that He should change His mind.
He will work all things together for the good of those who love him & are called according to His purpose.
So if He spoke something over your life, you can REST in the fact that HE will make it come to pass in His perfect timing.
-With love, Allie 💓

Annie said that she wanted to be the person behind-the-scenes helping people and ministry. God is already working in this podcast, because you guys were willing to put yourself out there all three of you. I am currently writing a book, wondering if something like this is worth pursuing. I felt the call the Holy Spirit to do this. This is my first book, and I’ve been wondering what God is going to do. I’ve listened to a few of your podcasts among others. God is giving me what I need to know and understand, that gives me courage and strength to continue what I feel called today to do. I just want to say thank you, and keep remaining faithful. Good work you guys!

Amazing episode as always. Confirmation that even though not everyone understands what I'm doing, I'm doing what God's called me to. It doesn't have to make sense to other people! It's about obedience to Him, He'll deal with the people if I walk in obedience!

I love colby and allie I love that allie loves her brother colbs so much for some reason she only brings him to things like this because she probably cares and is scared for his life I don't know she's like a mom to colbs its funny since he plays video games with his brother but it so nice to see he cares about God? 😅😂

This is Gods way of telling me that I can trust depend upon Him completely/always And that He is absolutely fighting my battles for me always. And I have one of Annie. F. Downs books on my bookshelf in my apartment I love her book. And @Annie F.Downs your idea worked And your books are selling at Walmart/target in my town/city. And I’m going to talk to my amazing parents soon to see if I can go on a mission trip to Scotland/Ireland in the future down the road. And I was thinking about going on a mission trip to Germany in 2025 and I talked to my parents about it and they said to me that God said no to me going to Germany in 2025 And I understand now why He said no He was protecting me :) And I definitely want to go on exciting mission trips in the future with Gods blessing/ green light @JWLKRS Worship

K, I’m glad you mentioned your guys’ stuff at the beginning… I still don’t understand how any of your pranks and girl-/guy-crazy content or weird set up videos were for God. Can you explain that or address it? I’d genuinely like to know.

This is my personal testimony about them. I started watching them during covid just looking for fun content to keep me occupied and learning that they were Christian caused me to latch on even though their content didn't look like it was centred around Christ. I was like 14 -15 at the time and was just discovering Christ on a personal level so I wasn't really looking for heavily Christ centred content but the way they acted felt like it was Christ centred. I can't explain it but it wasn't just giggles you know, I felt reached. 4 years later and my pursuit for a relationship with Christ increased and so did their content. I didn't necessarily see it in the beginning but God used each one of them to create a fan base that would later be used to reach all those people that have been watching them for years and more. I would say it was stepping into the preparation for the plans and purposes for their lives and ours that we are currently seeing and being a part of. I hope I made even a little bit of sense. God bless you and have a lovely day

@prinnmaddi the reason for the first content was to have silly clean content and show simple living without the partying and having a good time still. Then they grew closer with God and God let them release more of the reason behind the content was to show the love of Christ and be more direct. when at first it wasn’t very direct. It was to draw in people and the affection of love and happiness to drawing more followers because if people are so blunt about it, you’re not more likely to reach out as fast, if you show what God can do within your life and how good or bad can happen and you can get through it more people are more to be following watching you more relatable

IMO.... Because you cannot reach Generation Z by hitting them over the head with heavy handed Christian Content right out of the gate. Ask yourself... what does the younger generation find entertaining and engaging? They like having fun. Hanging out, maybe playing pranks on one another .. going out maybe to getting Starbucks, shopping.. and... and... relationships. They care about love and relationships. This is where I think Austin and Allie were really, really influential. They engaged young (probably heavily female) viewers and showed them what a healthy friendship, relationship looked like....they were relatable and millions have loved watching this love story develop and unfold in front of our eyes in the toktoks, vlogs and Livestreams....Slowly, slowly, they'd end some of their vlogs reading some scripture and wading in slowly to speak to their fans revealing more of their Christian side... and they really in spired a whole lot of young people to rethink who and how they date, conduct themselves and learning more about Jesus and how we are all made with a purpose. THIS is how they did it.
