What gets me the most is that it's not just the lyrics that fit the trajectory of their relationship -- the instrumental bits also just fit so well, and that's down to the choices you've made for what to show during those parts. The whole thing is just the best jonmartin fluff I think I've seen yet .... and I've watched a LOT of TMA animatics.

The fun thing about this song is that at first it was just a sort of joke the singer made on TikTok, then people were like “what if it’s actually more enemy to lovers?” And then another person said something along the lines of “sad stuff happen!” And in the end the singer put everything together and made the song.
