I would love for you to make a video talking about what you mentioned in this video about buying a tea cake instead of tea balls or dragon balls. I didn't quite understand your explanation, and I think advice like this from experienced people like you is really helpful for beginners like me, who are just starting to appreciate the taste of tea (and who find puerh a bit challenging). Thank you for your videos-I love them!

Brand new to all this, just got my first Gaiwan (No bones to pick) for Christmas and have been obsessing over all things tea for a week now. Really like this last video a lot. Side note, Do you know of a tea cup that would fit seamlessly in my gaiwan for that easy three piece setup?

That’s a great question! I’d actually recommend a bowl that fits just around the outside the body of the gaiwan and wrap it with a tea towel. Let me see if I can make a short about it to show what I mean too. 🤓

Is 240ml.not equal to 8oz or 1 cup? I thought 240ml pot should be ideal to brew tea. Why are you against brewing tea in any pot size of more than 200ml

Probably just his personal preference. 240ml is quite big, and depending on strong you like your tea, how many resteeps you do, etc. the caffeine intake and liquid intake can become too much for a single person. Even with my 200ml teapot, for solo sessions, I find myself going to the bathroom more than a few times.

Yeah so I typically am using 5/6 grams of tea per 100ml so if it’s a pot over 200ml that’s at least 10g of tea and a lot of caffeine especially 5, 6, 7 steeps in. Like on steep 7 that would be 1.4 liters and a whole lot of caffeine.

Caffeine must not have a huge effect on me. I will def do multiple steps in 200ml by myself 😂 I behaved today and did 100ml gaiwan, I think I hit 8 steps. I never keep track but I love your dice idea!!! I'm gonna get one
