I wonder about those. Since Sara isn't interjecting with the summary in this endings are those what she intended to see? These endings confuse me a bit since Sara usually was not happy with the happy endings...

Man, I'm so glad Nankidai changed the ending for surviving 40 days (while also successfully cooking for/teaching the Sunnies) Also the new Nao's sprite really surprised me, I thought it was a new chara or something lol

I’m not sure if “Rei”is going to play a massive part in the main story or not but I find it kinda weird how both Kai and Mishima found this dairy written by “Rei.” I wonder if it’s going to be important at all.

OMG I JUST HAD THIS THOUGHT! So, Kai and Mishima have the same endings EXCEPT for the "Reunion" ones, in which they differ, but still related to the Sunnies and *MEETING SOMEONE* AFTER A LONG TIME, RIGHT?? And then I started thinking about Joe, since there are high chances his POV will be the next one. So that got me thinking: Could we possibly and finally see *RYOKO* in his "Reunion" ending???!! (probably not, it could be Sara, but it would be cool) Also, just thinking of Joe going through all those bad endings and seeing him broken in sad CG's is what's gonna kill my soul. I rest my case.

the game is pretty RNG based so I had to reload a few times just to save myself at points, if you get lucky though you can get tons of food

its pretty much the same but they cut out the part with that character and they're called The Isle of Cooking/The Isle of Study but they don't have the "Reunion" part

I like the reunion endings but they make me wonder... what’s their purpose? Their supposed to be getting test data on these participants. So I gotta ask, why make them reunite with people they care for? What’s the point? And why do the sunniest exist? And why are they desperate from the main participants if it isn’t certain that they’ll die? Does all of this connect to that one ending where everyone escapes the island and one of the people running the program cries about it? What’s going on? My guess is the reason why the reunite endings exist is so they can possibly predict their future actions or see what will happen if they live for a bit longer or something. And I think the sunnies are separate form the other participants because they’ve determined that they’ll be the ones to die early somehow. And because of their studies on what happens if the participants live longer is the reason for that... somehow. Or they are running an experiment to see what happens if the sunniest all died early and I’m yttd they are currently seeing how the experiment will unfold in a death game. Or maybe your turn to shine so after your turn to die and they’re seeing what it would be like to add in the sunnies after realizing they die so early. Also maybe they’re trying to see how much someone like nao will boost up her survival rate by seeing these reunited endings and seeing their reactions. I hope more people find out about this update and come up with more theories.

I’m pretty sure this game isn’t entirely canon, if it is then it definitely doesn’t take place before the death game MAINLY because there are no AI’s of Kai or Nao, so it would be impossible The consensus I’ve found that I think makes the most sense is it takes place in a hypothetical “bad end” future, where Sara wins the death game and becomes the new leader of Asunaro (unwillingly) She basically ordered to create AI’s of Kai and Nao and put all the AI’s together in a happier world, and repeats it over and over until she feels better or “until I’m satisfied” (Feels like a personal callout to me lol I replay YTTS to cope too) (I realize the winner becoming the new leader isn’t confirmed but it’s a really popular theory, it basically rides on that previous death game that keeps getting brought up in YTTD)

yeah that CG was hella sad and yeah I recommend watching/playing it if you have the time!! Its not necessary since its mostly just the Fondness events and Endings but there is also some fun art of the dummies (sunnies) as both kai and mishima!

Hey, i just want you to know that when people die sometimes the ending slightly changes, like in the isle of cooking for example, if Sara dies, the scene will have a slight change! and i didn’t even get the isle of study but i guarantee that if nao dies it’ll change

For mishima u need to teach the dolls perfectly (i think this is the case as i failed teaching them when i played through it) for kai u need to cook the best food (does not need to be perfect)

I find the lack of “delete & repeat it” Isle of Cooking & Studying a bit strange. *Crackpot Theory:* The series creator pitied the fans a bit and made endings that don’t look like a AI world by “Sara?” as attempt to give the fandom a bit of a break.
