I bought a new forerunner three weeks ago and loved these wheels on it. Today was the first time I washed it and I will definitely be selling these wheels brake dust does not want to come off of this finish.

Harley Davidson sells a product that is called engine brightener. It for use on what they call crinkle black. It's the black texture they finish on engines. It's not very expensive and lasts longer than WD-40.

WD40 on a red shop rag works for me. Wheels look great and maintain a shine until you drive in the rain but it keeps that corner dirt from building back up for a month or so.

Chemical Guys is a lot of marketing hype. That said, the products I have used of theirs have worked well. Their meticulous matte detailer is nice. I have liked using it for my TRD wheels and my matte colored bikes and it leaves them looking super nice. Malco products have been the best that I have ever used on all my cars. They are professional level products and not marketed to the average consumer. I highly recommend.

use Iron-x, or Ferrex from Optimum to remove all the brake dust and other iron particles from the wheels and calipers to renew the wheels the best as possible. Also carefully try and clay bar the wheels to decontaminate them as well as possible, and then a spray n ceramic or hand applied ceramic coating.
