Great conversation! I think the over arching issue is people make themselves their own god when they do not accept that Jesus is the truth of the way and the life. If the world goes from bad to worse it is because there are more battles than prayers. Count Juan Donoso Cortez

Footnotes, endnotes are annoying, but sometimes you need both because some references are too long for the bottom of the page. You'd wind up with half the page in ntoes.

Some powerful statements to agree or disagree from Dr. Jeff Myers: The world has nothing for me God is good all the time; all the time God is good Love the sinner, hate the sin Jesus was a social justice warrior God said it; I believe it; that settles it for me It's just me (and Jesus) [This wasn't in (parenthesis), but I interpreted his visual that way] God will heal our land if we humble ourselves and pray It's not my place to to judge Christianity is a relationship not a religion Just have faith

Galaga cheat (this honestly works). First wave, do *not* double up your ship. Destroy *everything* except the two left-most blue-and-yellow guys (one above the other). Then move yourself over to the right, about an inch or two from the edge of the screen. Now sit there and watch. You can shoot if you like; it won't affect anything. You'll notice the two hornets will sometimes go off the left side of the screen. (This is why you left space to your right.) If the shot comes in from the right, DODGE IT! But if no shot appears, that's 1! The game allows for 8 total shots to be on the screen. When a shot is fired off-screen and does not appear on-screen, it locks 1 of the 8 registers. As soon as the 8th register is locked, you'll notice the hornets stop shooting. Make sure they have stopped. Then destroy them. For the rest of that game, no enemies will shoot. (They can still kamikaze you, so be careful!)

Footnotes all day. The Concordia Self-Study Bible has so many footnotes they sometimes take up half the page. But anyway, sounds like the unspeakable solution to our current societal problem is mass die-off either through disease or war (based on the reference to the Black Plague). You wouldn't be the first to suggest it.

To move forward and be a viable force in the worlds culture and win over the hearts and minds of everyday people ultimately facilitating the "leaning" of society back towards Christianity it must first acknowledge all the horrors that it is directly reaponsible for. Christ has been good for the world, Christianity and Christians to this point in history, when looked at as a whole body of work, have done more harm than good. Obvioisly its on the right track as far as humanitarian efforts now for the most part, but most Christians probably arent aware of the things its religion is responsible for such as the burning of 5,000 texts erasing much of Mayan history forever. Christians walk around with a spiritual arrogance that is unjustified and off putting. For the every day person its hard to even consider hearing the message when there is so much that is obviously wrong within the doctrine that Christianity refuses to acknowledge and therefore undermines its credibity to those that need it more than anyone, the lost. The biggest problem with Christianity is Christians, not that they are bad or evil, its that they are exactly like the woke but with a different dogma to follow. Blind, ignorant and completely free of any self awareness. The avg Christian that attends church every sunday and will preach about Jesus and judge others knows less about their own religion than the blue haired 18 year old communists on tik tok knows about marx and lennon. The woke and the saved are the exact same people when it comes to how their minds work they just have different books they are pulling theor plays from. They are both guitly of trying to force their beliefs and way of life upon people that disagree with them, gay marriage, blue laws in the south. The over reaching hard contril the christians tried to weild over their neighbors is what caused this woke garbage to begin with. As Christians we have completely failed, 100 percent catastrophic mishandling of Jesus' message to the world to the point that if something isnt done soon His teachings and the real message will be lost forever.

Over arcing sounds more correct but arching with an "h" seems to be a more correct spelling. (There is correct and incorrect - No middle ground. I'm just talking about what my memory says. Which is definitely irrelevant. I don't even know why I'm posting this. But my thumbs are tired and I don't want that to be in vain.]
