exchange them in TOWN (not on the beach) for the best rate. for me: i will be going to an ATM that my bank partners with for the best rate/exchange rate

I agree, highly recommend spending a few days in town and a few days at the beach. Mostly because getting from the town to the beach isn’t as convenient as people would think looking at the map. And you get 2 totally different experiences

Hi Christine! I'm so glad I found you, it was like meant to be. I love your videos and how honest you are! I'll be traveling to Tulum soon with my 2 boys. They love to swim and be in the beach and the pool. Any recommendations on traveling with children and affordable hotels?

oooo exciting! i’m traveling back soon too. tulum with kids isn’t something i see a lot to be honest. but it’s do-able! the beach - especially the south part - is kind of like one big beach party. maybe on the north side of the beach you might find some better spots to travel with kids. i’m hoping someone in the comments might have some tips!!

Most all the properties rake it up, and I always just find a property that has raked it up, and that the water is more clear in that area, and just park it for the day. It's really not a big deal. Tulum is still the most amazing place.

Ooooo! I purposely didn't talk about it because tbh, I'm too scared to rent a car out there. SO MANY PEOPLE have had really amazing successful car rentals. But for me, I've heard enough horror stories that I'm sticking to foot and bike and taxi.

None needed upon entry! Mexico is open (at the moment). If you are returning to the USA (for example) you need one to COME BACK.

I’m sure some do, in my experience (I took cabs about every other day for 2 weeks) only a couple of them spoke english. But then again I would immediately start speaking spanish with them

Loaded question. Are you going to be doing a lot of site seeing? If staying in town and cooking some meals, you need car. But parking at Tulum hotel zone is insane
