admittedly the timeline would be a bit wonky considering everything > child keiji meets mr policeman > mr policeman says his wife is expecting a child (or something of the sort) > keiji grows up and joins the police > keiji shoots mr policeman > joe doesn't remember his dad that well, which implies that joe was rather young when his dad passed haven't played yttd in a while so i might've forgotten smth, but "child keiji" would have to be an older kid, possibly a young teen, or joe doesn't have a great memory, or joe has an older sibling

I also thought of that theory immediately but I found it difficult due to the timeline not being a good fit. Either the wife of that police man had a miscarriage with the first kid and Joe is the second or he does indeed have an older sibling yet it would be weird if he was never mentioned.

One thing: I'm pretty sure the Japanese version does have Mr. Policeman is Joe's dad as a major plot point, but in the English version it didn't make the translations. I may be wrong, though, as I've only heard this.

The side story was not too long before the death game, so, he had time to collect himself (also he was kinda relieved) And I don't believe it's too out of character, he is physically very weak, however, you can see him trying to do thing sometime (he tried to do one push up in Mishima Fondness event)@@yanoizikawa770
