This weapon combination is amazing. The dagger throw skill can lower endurance by 150, provoking roar 300, thunderclouds 300 and so on... Pretty neat! The dagger ultimate also got a buff in the recent updates where it does AOE damage per jump.... Pair that with the aoe damage passive and you'll have a blast. GS squish me like a roach every time. Quite frustrating to press 14 skills only to get one shot by 3 buttons but it is what it is.

yes, greatsword is sadly your worst enemy but if you can position right, you can definitely avoid them in large scale fights.

There's a Korean KZbinr called KALL that has uploaded a couple of videos in the last week of his SNS/Dagger and he runs a super offensive build that seems to be able to dish out more damage and quicker than a GS/Dagger can. His videos are obviously handpicked clips small scale clips and there are almost no Bows in it, but I think that after the Bow nerfs are in, his build has a lot of potential. He runs Inject Venom + Umbral Spirit + SoA & Provoking Roar and the damage seems kinda crazy..

Yes after the devotion shield change, doing something with the weaken/thundercloud/poison and umbral spirit will be viable. For now it’s just not good. But it will be better after changes. I’ll test and maybe make a part 2 this video.

For PVE, I would highly recommend you try lightning infusion + thunder spirit with provoking roar. Lightning throw becomes an insane AOE burst. Believe me you have to see it for yourself.

Nice! Wish I saw this channel before, luckily I did find the write mag/ranged pieces as you described. I do however find evasion to be super random, even when you get to the 2000 values, I can walk around a clump and seemingly not get hit, or I can die to one bowmans combo. Arena is pretty bad compared to openworld for that for some reason.

yes. evasion is definitely a gamble. a solid value of evasion only guarantees somewhere between 50-60% evasion rate against most geared players. As for the rest, you got your defensive cooldowns and hopefully ur healer!

make sure to go to cash shop and under the ornate coin tab on the left (2nd from bottom) and buy out all the purple active and purple passive books. If you dissolve all books, you'll get 200 active and 200 passive blue books, which you should use to get pretty much all of your skills to at least purple 1.

As xbow main the attackspeed its not calculated correctly As rex xbow traits added 8% attackspeed bugged Also gloves traits bugged And some items like etched ring its not giving the shown added attack speed Overall there's small delay in the autoattack animation xbow tested Lets say my attackspeed shown as 0.33s Thats mean i should do 3 autoattacks per second without any skills or offhand activation... Which is not Please do your test this need to be fixed ASAP❤

Everyone keeps telling me you need more and more perception to actually land your hits and stuns. How do you make it work with you mainly want to build into str and evasion? Just curious. It’s still confusing how the hit system works.

i mean a big hit chance work if u are just hitting enemies far away or probably gvg but in a 1 v 1 hit chance is useless if people can just insta stun and lock you, by the time you can hit them you are already dead hit chance build = 1.1k+ = large scale pvp but if enemies dive you, you are dead evasion chance build = 3v3 arena pvp, 1v1 build, if the enemy have 1.5k or 2k hit chance you are dead

it's all about target selection, you fight targets that have no melee evasion. Specifically staff/bow, staff/dg, bow/dg people. If you really want, you can run 100 hit food as well.

for arenas, it's not the best build cuz you don't have melee defensive, BUT it definitely works.

I really don’t think it’s worth it simply cuz the need for stacking 20 thundercloud stacks. And brutal incision just does inconsistent dmg if it’s not stacked high, idk. I think build stays unchanged for now.

as I explain in the video, you need to run evasion gear. shock commander set does nothing for sns/dagger. Heavy atk is always valuable when you can get it.

you can probably mix it with karnix sns so your stat balance isn't too off. you'll lose lots of HP as well from not running dark slayer. but kowa daggers have high base and lots of crit, i was also thinking about making an offensive tank build with it, who knows, might work!

In tier 2 you can get even more ranged/magic evasion with 2 piece dawn mist set bonus. And with runes etc you can get significant melee endurance alongside ur very high ranged/magic evasion. I’ll make a separate video closer to Talandre expansion.

sadly not. melee evasion just doesn't work as good simply cuz the dagger roll passive -shadow walker- only provides ranged and magic evasion. if it provided melee too, then i'd say maybe. but sadly not.

I love thunderclouds so I think as long as it’s practical I’ll want to use lightning infusion and anything of that theme. Lean a touch more into these daggers with the skill layout anyways.

@ probably the poison for the 15% dps on brutal incision. I don’t think thundercloud 20 stack/brutal incision thing is just not viable in pvp. Thundercloud incision is just merging urself imo.

feels adequate for the most part, you definitely are not hitting any1 with melee evasion like a gs/dg is able to, though.

it wont work sadly. this build has to be full magic/ranged evasion in tier 1. But in tier 2, you can do magic/ranged evasion, melee endurance.

not everyone, but yes, you can hit all the people you need to hit, you can also run the 100 hit food, if struggling. But you need to make sure you are selecting the right targets.

I have gear to use all 4 builds shown. Depending on content I change the build. Gameplay/skill loadout remains the same regardless of T2 or T1. it's the same rotation/skills for T1 and T2 both respectively. hope this helps!
