Very true that the real freedoms fighters were all mostly poor and they continued to be so very poor even after independence. But that spot for Netaji is the best one!! Especially him in army fatigues facing the war memorial. Why is there so much doubt? Modiji is not someone who puts his feet back after putting it forward. He did it only for farmer protest for Punjab - but that’s for different reasons. None of this done unthinkingly. When I was a student of class six I got the opportunity to study the book in Bengali “Ami Subhash Bolchi”. After that I started to worship Netaji as a God. At present I am of 63 yrs and feel very much worried that newer generation will not know about Netaji and his deeds will get erased.
