It always amazes me how I wake up in New Jersey and after sitting on plane dozing off, drinking coffee, reading a newspaper and like magic I’m in Las Vegas.

Kinda like how I can pull onto the North I-15 on the on-ramp half a mile from my apartment in San Diego at 9am and, maybe four hours later, pull off the same highway in front of the Bellagio!

It's amazing all the new areas that didn't exist when I lived there, even extended Sunset Rd west of LVBD, over and past I-15 which was all desert when I first moved to Vegas. When I left, we had just started construction of the I-215, and extension of Buffalo, Durango, and Ft Apache south of Tropicana towards Blue Diamond. I was also part of the Seven Hills and Del Webb Anthem expansions south of St.Rose Pkwy, and Lake Las Vegas off Lake Mead Blvd east of Henderson. So much has changed south of Las Vegas since the time when PEPCON exploded. I left in 2002 but have visited a few times since.
