this is soooo true, my ex bf who is my best friend before and after we dated, he still makes me fall a sleep so peacefully just by listening to him talk or him watching me or even just breathing or doing something, idk his presence makes me feel safe and calm and relaxed cause he has always respected me in every way and has never ever done anything to hurt me or with the intention so his basically just a safe space for me and when I struggle to nap or I'm alone at home and feel scared I normally call him up and talk, his just very relaxing, funny and random

Reminds me of those times I was at my friends for a sleepover and they fell asleep while I was telling them some story or ranting about something. Happend with 2 diffrent people (someone I don't have contact anymore cause we simply were driven apart and my still best friend. Last one even fell asleep once while we were talking on the phone xD) The thing is: both people (especially my best friend) were soooo sorry for just falling asleep during my talking and were apologizing like crazy and I was just: "No! You don't have to! Really! I'm actually happy about that! It wasn't anything important and it showed me you find my presence and voice calming! And it was the moment I was able to finally lay down for some sweet sleep myself~" I'm actually happy about people falling asleep. Cause they are simply stressed out, sleep deprived and need it and if I'm the one helping them relax so they can get that sweet relief, heck, I'm on it! I can rant, or tell some story or something and afterwards I can do other stuff like sleeping myself without having it on my consciousness that I did fall into sleep before them or something. And if I told them something important while they went down to dreamland, I can tell them again the next day. And if I forget what it was: It wasn't important enough!
