If you don't appreciate, now I didn't say like or become a fan of, but appreciate Zappa, you know absolutely nothing about music. He and his band was light years ahead of other rock bands of the day, but not only that, his compositions were often more challenging than what most formally trained musicians played--classical, jazz, and the like. Dig that, kiddies.

Chances are, dude not gon see that comment since he left it seven years ago, laddie! It is a great comment however. Frank wrote such complicated music, he had to find players good enough to PLAY what he wrote, because otherwise he had no idea how it sounded. Not tryna piggyback ole boy up there, but Frank was truly ahead of his time, and will truly štand the test of time.

Every time I hear a different recording of this song my entire mind is blown over & over again. I don't know why I've connected so much to this song but it's honestly just one of the most relatable things I've ever heard sonically & lyrically. The changes to the words & lines he emphasizes every time, it feels like he's telling us exactly what parts of the song he was feeling during those moments. The May 8th Mudd Club 1980 version has got to be my favorite so far, he clearly wants to get the fuck out of that sweaty venue, yet still performs such a masterpiece of a song. Maybe I'm crazy & I know there's hundreds of Frank songs I could be this attached to instead, but this is like my own personal Zappa-written theme song.

Credo che l'abbia ascoltato anche lui e gli ha fatto molto bene. "Senza deviazioni dalla norma, il progresso non è possibile" diceva Frank
