@@roems6396 the first video I made that popped was a reaction to a black comedy EDM song that had a really sad story. SO many people said I was the only reactor to “get it”. I gues lots of reactors just don’t “listen”? 🤷🏻

Hey again Mister Roar Clocked out means she died, its term picked up when a worker finishes their shift and clocks out... it somehow worked itself out in some parts of England where clocked out means the person has finished their shift in life. I loved how you like our European sayings, I myself am from Hampshire England. My local dialect is very mixed because I was born just outside London but have lived all over the United Kingdom. There are a couple of great KZbin videos about English dialects and sayings that might peak your interest :D. This was an amazing reaction once again and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I love how you picked out the Rhythms and patterns in the song, not just with the guitar but how Ren constructed the lines together. Thank you once again for another enjoyable video.

So, Roar, I've just discovered your Ren reactions, so going back through all of them... and the one thing I have always thought was an amazing thing in this song, in Violet's Tale... is when he's like "Say something Violet" the last time, when he's maybe more concerned... in the silence, you hear seagulls... it's just one of those random perfect things. I really have been enjoying your reactions. it's nice to have a thoughtful take on these songs, and not just surface level "Yeah OMG its sooo good" Keep it up man!!!!

Many reactors seem to also think Jenny lived based on the line about her escaping, not understanding that death was an escape for her. They don't get it until Screech's Tale makes it clear.

Great reaction! New subscriber!! I love how he cleverly says the year as Two-Zero-Zero-Five in Violet's tale. The Tale of Jenny and Screech was released in 2019. He says Screech is 14 in his tale. So he gives a huge hint right there at the beginning of Violet's tale but it is easy to overlook. I love his storytelling.

On the set and screaming outside; I took a good look at the buildings around, and it looks like they're all shops or other businesses, so nobody really to be disturbed by the shouting. On people getting into relationships that reflect those of their parents; that's what they've grown up with, having seen only that in relationships. A lot of people miss that the 2-0-0-5 is the year. And The Tale of Jenny was originally released in 2019.

Not sure you caught it but in Violet’s Tale the guitar crescendo and decrescendo weren’t (at least just) unraveling. The first use was to show time rewinding (rewind the hands of time) and then fast forwarding back to where we started (in the hospital).

Love the reactionary elements and breaking down the schemes. Narrating the obvious details tho... For instance telling us screech is a thug after Ren describes him as a thug... Teaching us about the consistency of butter... C'mon man lol. Have more faith in your audience than that. We get "such a shame" means sad.

I hope you've gone back and listened to / watched this again. I wish reactors would ALWAYS go back at least 5 seconds after a pause. i feel like ther were a couple things that you didn't get the impact of, when you talked over it or paused and didn't back up, and you were thinking about wht you were going to say. It does't ruin it for me, because I've listend to this song dozens of tines, but I watch reactions, because I want to see other people feeling the stuff I felt. You know? So, it's not a complaint for MY experience. (I love hearing your thoughts). But I'm bummed when I dont' feel like you noticed the significance of some parts. I'm NOT anti pause. I like pauses. (I'd MUCH rather someone pause rather than talk over the song.) BUT I think it would help you not miss some small parts, if you rewound at least 5 seconds. Just a piece of advice. I did enjoy this reaction very much.

If you rewound a few seconds every time you stop you wouldn't miss so much of the flow. it seems to me that you completely missed the 'rewind' on the guitar at the beginning of Violets Tale, then the guitar effect of the punches landing, then the fast forward back to Violet being in hospital. in short you completely ruined the flow for yourself.

Hey Roar, I love your insights and all that, but, ... please use a bit of etiquete when commenting. Just pause the video at the end of the bar, make your comment, then wind the vid back a few seconds before continuing. Too much commentary directly over the music you are supposed to be reacting to! Without pausing you could be missing salient stuff, and without a rewind-overlap we are all losing continuity.

I’d really like to see where you’d read that it’s actually part of police training to try and fire on a very small part of the body as they’re running at you. Seems like if you missed the leg, that bullet could ricocheted hit somebody else.
