It’s crazy to think that an amazing dancer like this was kind enough to come to my studio in Minnesota and teach me my solo and my group dances this year!

The reason why everyone was screaming was because this was the last time she was thought to dance her senior year. She had torn ligaments in her hip and had to have a major hip surgery and didn't know if she would ever dance the same. The fact that she was able to do everything that she did in this dance was amazing and left a lot of the audience in tears. -from a dancer at her studio

So was this after the surgery.....or with the torn ligament....?
@makeitmusical10 жыл бұрын
Yeah but it's usually known that you don't want to take away from the dancer..it's rude to keep yelling throughout the dance even if you are really excited. -a dance sister

Stunning. The choreography seems to be focused on the fluidity of the dancer. The combination of the dancer and the choreography make it a great number to watch.

Lovely to see someone dance with strength and fluidity without all the tricks camouflaging the dancing skills and technique! Beautiful extensions too!

I will agree that this was not one of Tokyo's best but he is an amazing choreographer and teacher. He puts an entire dancers body into the dance and choreographs it right down to the finger tips. If you work on a piece by Tokyo you are challenging yourself, and if it looks easy then the dancer is clearly doing their job. I will admit though, it was not my favourite for his work but Alyssa saved the piece. Wonderful job.

Stop being mean to her. She just had hip surgery. A girl on my gymnastics team had to quit dance and gymnastics forever because of hip surgery

The choreography was repetitive, and it was a struggle to finish watching. What is Tokyo thinking? Alyssa saved this piece, her movements are graceful, fluid, and lovely to watch.

I've watched Your dancing many, many times, I've said it before how wonderful I think You dance. But mostly I want to "Piggy-Back" on a comment that someone made. It had to do with the Audience and while You perform there is too much yelling and "Cat-Calling!!! I know Your Fans appreciate You, But while You're Out there....that's Your TIME, and it's Ours too, to enjoy what You do. I'm sure theres got to be others that feel this way also, if there are.....please comment. Thank's

technique and fluidity are magnificent but the choreography was repetitive, simple, and too be quite honest boring. However her movement saved it
