The road to any worthwhile destination is never promised to be straight or short; the unpaved stretches and tortuous chicanes demanding our determination and our patience. But embedded in that journey are the formative experiences which strengthen our bonds, enliven our narratives, and maybe with enough luck, produce that happy ending.
This EP is about one of those journeys; a collection of songs for and about a special and beloved friend, with whom that journey continues.
Because ours is an odyssey.

Great song, I love the addition of drums at 0:52, and it's great to hear Jeff, it's a rather different style from his, but he manages it perfectly! I thought it's "You're my shelter from the storm" rather than "You’re my shelter I’m your home", before you released the lyrics. I have two questions, will there be an instrumental available when I buy the album? The one on soundcloud is slightly different, and can't be downloaded either way. The second question is whether the other songs in the album will be similar, or the same genre, though I understand if you deign not to answer that. Keep doing what you're doing :)

I actually never thought of releasing the instrumentals, but I think that could serve as a tasty bandcamp exclusive. As for the genres of focus, it's as eclectic as my previous releases to keep you guess and with luck, grooving the whole way through.
