If anyone’s wondering why kentland 33 is there. Chris was also a member of that dept
@bunEmom5 жыл бұрын
Kentland VFD - I read it's the busiest 100% volunteer fire dept. in the US, & some firefighters live in the station. I can understand why it was such a special place to Captain Slutman.

Not knocking the USMC or FDNY but are the guard of honour etc off duty personnel and are the fire stations still manned during sad occasions like this. Just there seems to be a hell of a lot of firefighters in attendance. RIP to one when most people are running away from danger runs towards it.
@catlockhart69655 жыл бұрын
Many fire departments send reps. from every state and the military will also have reps. there. That is why you see so many people in uniform.
@daniel_sc10245 жыл бұрын
The FDNY employs 15,465 uniformed fire fighters and EMS personnel, so you are seeing a fraction of that. You are also seeing personnel from other fire departments, as well as police (noticed some police K9 in attendance). There are probably retired FDNY people as well as representatives from various related associations there, as well. Likewise with the Marines.

He's worried about this brave man's name. REALLY? Look at yours you moron. I'm a firefighter/paramedic and I'm very proud of my brother. At least he served his country as a soldier and his community as a firefighter. What have you done? Bashing his name is so uncalled for. Grow up.
@christopherj.bernard50545 жыл бұрын
@@kenbass3862 Correction to your comment to someone else, Christopher was NOT a soldier. He was a MARINE. Soldier's are in the Army just as Sailors are in the Navy and Airman are in the Air Force but i do get the point you are making towards that individual.
