Spot on! Maxing out the ROTH 401K , ROTH catch up 401K and ROTH IRA has been huge. A total of 34,000 (19500, 6500, 7000) a year in Roth money and then there is after tax conversions to the Roth as well. Huge payoff later in taxes saved.

The percentages of ss benefits are not accurate for younger people. I’m 48, and by the time I get there the well will have run dry. I’m told to only expect 70 to 80 cents on the dollar.
