Being 70 and retired dressing up is a rare happening. After watching your videos I do try and pull even the most casual go to the market together into some sort of cohesive outfit. I have been wearing my jeans skirt to many casual occasions.

I am 69 and retired. While working I had to wear suits every day. Most of those work clothes have been donated. Yoga pants are my go to now with my one pair of nicer pants being used for anything, going shopping, parties etc.

I’m 73. I see such disregard for appropriate dress when I do outside my home. It’s up to us to set the example! My grandmother,born 1902 was mine. She wasn’t rich but she wouldn’t have been caught dead outside her home dressed “ shabby “.

Does anyone recall the TLC show “What Not To Wear”? I learned back then to always change from “ in house” clothes to appropriate “leaving the house” clothes. Some days I even dress up a bit in house. I remember my Mom in her housework dress, but before my Dad came home from work, she was changed, makeup and hair done. Jamie, you are so right about not saving those special clothes for occasions. While I wouldn’t wear a silk blouse when taking grands to the playground I’d wear it to the grocery store!

Dressy blouses with jeans, yes. A sweatshirt with trousers makes no sense to me. Just my thoughts I appreciate the fact that your videos are typically 30 minutes or less and you reuse clothes you have. There are too many influencers who have ‘ haul’ videos encouraging viewers to buy buy buy. I do like your small haul videos. I bought a couple items you showed and have been very happy with them. Please do another Loft and Old Navy hauls.

For me the moto jacket was out of the box. Honestly I love it. Unexpected on a woman of a certain age. Great with dresses. It also led to trying other things. I learned I love juxtaposition, high contrast and against white hair … yeah. ❤️

Great styling tips. I bought several pairs of flare jeans recently, and I love how flattering they are on me. You look amazing in flares Jamie. I also bought a white and a blue denim skirt, slit in the front. I wore them in the 90's. I still love the look now, as I did when I was in my late 20's

Definitely don’t be afraid to mix and match. Experiment with color, texture and fit. Mix different style eras. Definitely wear (or sell/ donate/ swap) the good stuff.

Love dressier tops with jeans, love the jean skirts with boots. HOWEVER, the oversized trend and this thing of tucking sweatshirts into dress pants with sneaks....that I just cannot get on board with. One looks sloppy and the other looks dorky 😵😄.

I like the midi jean skirt on you better than the maxi one. I like the vest you're wearing. Bi like the feminine details! What do you think is your personal style? 3 words to describe it. My mom used to save all the new towels she got for presents for "when she would have to go to the hospital". I don't know why, you don't need towels in the hospital! But she kept using ratty old towels instead of pretty new ones!!

I used to entertain alot, went on trans-Atlantic cruises with two formal nights, went to for al parties with married friends. Wjen my hisbamd died a year ago as I got rid of his clothing I thought of getting rid of all my formal and party wear. Sadly me social set of all marrieds drifted away. THis is not unusual. Im glad I was too exhausted to deal with thrm. This Christmas season I have a new set of friends my age...all singles. I wore my gold sequin pants with a cream swester for a CHristmas Eve dinner and cream boots...a blingy necklace...gpt lots of complinets. I wore a bronze tied waist dessy cardigan over a cream sweater dress yesturday to a weekly lunch. I have held back a cognac tneck tank to wear with a velvet jacket same color and suede matching pants ....dressing is fun again and I enjoy it. I have lots or red items I have been combining with cream this season. I wear mostly separates because I love combining them in new ways. I buy mostly vintage but every season a few new items and my classics updated with the new shorter pullovers look very fresh this season. I have always found great vintage buys in suedes, leathers, velvets....once very expensive items for much smaller prices so I have alot. I went from a size 12 down to an 8 and I have been collecting these smaller sizes for years in hopes of wearing them. THer is just so much MORE vintage i. Smallsr sizes available which I always be oaned. But these items cost $5 to 10 USD where I live abroad...I guess vintage shops just rotate stock and sell off these things...since my style is pretty classic 10 yrs old is fine with me as long as it has classic stying and isnt some weird trendy style.

I didnt like the straight no waist look on the left...there are ways to give your waist definition. I like dressing high/low made fampus first by RAlph Lauren when he mixed western with sparkle designer looks...big buckle blingy....western boot or regular riding boot. I combine British riding clothes with dressier things as well. I also have ultrafeminine boho skirts and satin skirts it is so easy to come up with unique looks.NO one ever has on the same outfits I do. People compliment me all the time about my attire...and I am 76! I li.e to wear blingy tops...sweaters with some bling over suede midi skirts tall boots. BLazers are the heaviest clothing I need to wear where I live so I have a large collection RL vintage collected for many years.

That maxi skirt with a slit in the back is aweful. Many ladies have never look at their cellulite and varicose veins. Check that before sporting that back slit.😊
