Hi Toni. Beautiful decorations as always. If no one else has suggested, instead of hot glue on the curtains, you can use stitch witchery or fusible hem to “glue” the curtain hems. Just steam iron on. I hate hemming so this works great!

I love second hand stores. Your decor is beautiful. Here is a small tip for non sewing . Instead of hot glue , there is this stuff called stitch witchery. It comes in different widths and it's for hemming . It would work great for your curtain project. Have a great day .

Absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately the Good Will stores ( & Salvation Army) where I live don't have beautiful items such as these & generally anything nice that they might have is over priced, but it is nice to see all the things purchased, ( for next to nothing), for this project! Again, absolutely beautiful!

Also try the Thrift stores. And if all fails try looking for Goodwills in the ritzy areas, for some reason, I find the their items cost less.

This looks so cozy, comfortable yet elegant. Home goods and TJ Max has some affordable pillows and accent pieces too. I have been in Good Will stores. no thanks. Your Good will has some cool things but I don’t think that is the norm. A table for $6??? That would go for $50 -$75 where I live and it would be scratched with a broken leg. I have been to several in different states and it’s all the same. The stuff they are selling, I would throw out. You did a great job decorating with only $50.

Before health issues slowed me down, I shopped for years at Goodwill and Salvation Army stores, and found lots of bargains in the process. My best deal was probably the $25 brand-new in the box prelit 7ft Christmas tree still in use 10 years later. I think a lot of what these stores stock has more to do with what each store manager deems worth selling. That being said, I've also seen what I considered to be outrageous prices, and waited patiently for months for a reduction that never happened. You just never know!

I just found a heavy metal and glass end table for $10 that sits in my bitty Japanese garden next to my chair. I love my Salvation Army. It does not need updating, too pretty as is.

Thank you! I never use foundation or anything on my face, only powder when I'm filming to reduce the shine. When I'm filming or when I go out the only makeup I use is lipstick, eyeliner, and a little eyeshadow and mascara. I don't wash you face with soap only warm and cold water every morning. At night, I clean my face with a warm damp microfiber towel, then cold damp towel. Then I rub 2 drops of sesame oil (sometimes coconut oil) over my face, neck and chest. Once a week I clean my face with Apricot Scrub.
