Okay, I knew I would love the vocals, Thomas and Terrence have absolute god tier voices. But I wasn't sure whether the theme would appeal to me, as I am on the aromantic spectrum. I'm just not a love song person. But I actually really liked it. The mutual pining was sweet and the lyrics were really well done. Also, the video was so pretty! I am also not really a dance person, but I really felt the choreo here. I think it matched up so well with the lyrics. I appreciated the use of lighting and scene changes. Damn. My birthday is packed! MatPat's final GTLive, recovering from a health scare, setting up a tattoo appointment, and now this absolutely amazing song and music video is put on KZbin. Honestly, Thomas, your videos are one of the safe spaces I had when I was having such a hard time and feeling so alone, and even saying guys, gals, and non-binary pals helped me feel so included when my mom wasn't exactly accepting yet. Sanders Sides helped me understand some of the things I was dealing with too, and you've just had such a positive effect on my life. Turning 18 now, I look at my childhood knowing that despite having not the best home situation back then, I had, and still have, some amazing role models. Thank you so much. (Also, this song reminds me of an audio series I've been listening to that has recently crushed my soul, I'm crying thinking about it, but this helps me process it.
