I'm an Indians season ticket holder and I want to say that watching Mike Clevinger develop into the great pitcher he is was a lot of fun and brought me many hours of enjoyment. I wish he could have stayed here a bit longer but that's the business of baseball. I won't hold one knucklehead move against him and wish Mike good health and a long successful career.

Mike Clevenger is my all time favorite player. He gave me the courage to try out of Highschool Baseball. He taught me so much without ever trying. I analyzed every movement of his pitch, of his grips, and of his attitude. He isn't my idol, he isn't my mentor, he is just there, he just gave me so much knowledge without teaching me. Thank you Clev, I will miss you here in Cleveland, and I wouldn't have had the opportunities I have if you were never here.

As a lifelong Cleveland sports fan, we have taken heat from other fans, we have been the "mistake on the lake", players have refused to play in Cleveland, because "it's Cleveland".
