What a great explanation. Can I use merge for add 2 numbers? I mean the actual number in the field plus a new number like: Field: 'Wins' and an update with +1 win to the field. Or I have to get into a variable the saved number and then update the field with the variable+1?

I have a question! What if I want to update the current user's info but I want to let the user change it him/her self? I need the document Id for this user that you hard-copied from the console. Is there a way to get it? Great video!

If u want to change that is the admin (incase that is what you want) then u can use the admin sdk. If the current user wants his uid then he/she can get his uid easily using admin.auth.currentuser.uid. In case of any doubt ping me back.

yup....use collectionReference with where cluase....put userId in it and then in querydocumentsnapshot get the current login user document and apply same update ftn
