IT'S NOT JUST LUCK when you swing on plane. If you apply the right hand correctly to the golf club you can feel the club and arm being on plane. There is more to it thank you think.
EUREKA GOLF SWING

For a golf swing that is CONSISTENT, provides a flat left wrist, compression, lag and more. Steve's EUREKA GOLF SWING is now being implemented in 52 countries taking the golfers game to a place that allows the body to turn, the flight to straighten and compression to become a reality.
The starting place is the "iron swing series" offering the set of the Eureka Golf Swing canes and a step by step tutorial of the full action.
REMEMBER: as Steve says, "There is a difference between opening your stance and aiming left".

Great video Steve. I instantly realised that when I did this exercise, my ‘normal’ right forearm was definitely not in the right position, hence my poor shot was always over the top with disconnected arms. Can’t wait to try it out.

Steve, as a left handed person who has struggled playing right handed for 5 years, I recently made the decision to try and learn the game left handed as the body movements required felt more natural. I tried this drill at the range tonight and can honestly say that I have never hit the ball as straight and as consistent as I have tonight. Yes, probably too early to tell after one session but I’ve came away buzzing and itching to get onto the course to try it out where it really matters. Unbelievable drill which is so simple and so effective. Thank you Steve 👍🏻

Good video Steve, for a right handed golfer the back of the right wrist to the elbow is the key to stay on plain, consistent body rotation and it will eliminate early release. Very good video.

This is a little bit like the Moe Norman grip and swing taught by Kirk Junge (Learning Golf TV) and the Graves Academy. I've been using this right-hand grip for quite a few years where that hand's palm faces the target at impact, eliminating any rotation or roll over on the follow through. Steve doesn't mention the Left-hand grip, but I also use Junge's approach there. Gotta say, my golf shots have never been straighter.

Was gonna say the same about Moe. Arguably the greatest ball striker ever. It’s like he started at impact and worked his way backward.

Great suggestion for placing the right hand on the golf club Steve! This will definitely work for me since this is the position I am trying to attain at set up! My swing is usually on an in to out to in path. Something I will be thinking about when I do set up. Good Job Steve!

Watched the video a couple of times. Waited until there was enough shade on my practice area. The first three or four swings had me striking the balls perfectly. After a few successful swings, I got off plane… swaying off the ball… trail elbow all over the place… again. Repeat repeat repeat. Try it again tomorrow. I’ll keep working on it. One more idea: I was using my 52° wedge. I think I had the handle too low. I pay attention to that when I practice tomorrow

I think most golfers would benefit from playing with a significantly shorter. The loss of club head speed is more than offset by the clean striking. No matter how much I try, I can’t keep the club on plane from the half swing up to the full swing, but this drill definitely looks like it could help. Will give it a go

Hi Steve, I’m very new to your site, and I’m also very old! I see that you have the Eureka logo on your shirt, are you setting up to strike these shots in this video with the Eureka set or are you square to the target line. I love your technique. Thank you.

Hi Steve. Great video. However, to my coach I think this swing would look very ‘laid inside’ or flat and ‘hitting the wall’ behind you. Is this the case or is it just from the camera perspective? I’m quite short so my swing is naturally flatter than average.

The hard part for me is in the full backswing, getting the right arm down and in front to the same position. It's a transition move the better players do that shallows the club and keeps the arms close together. Really struggling with this part of it.
@windhamhornby1593

Yep. Had a lesson with my local pro as I am shanking dreadfully. He diagnosed an over the top swing and suggested a "feel" for the back swing which essentially was a swallowing of the club at transition. In fact changing the plane completely to attack the ball from the inside. Steve's right hand drill is all about keeping the same plane and makes perfect sense for short chipping. But in fact is the exact opposite of my pro's advice. Steve is a first class coach and his videos are spot on. This one however has me confused. Anyone else out there agree/disagree. Welcome some feedback

This is inline with the single, or one plane set up which makes so much sense for easier consistency. What’s interesting is that his right forearm at top of backswing is not the “textbook”parallel with his spine angle. But the real key (which I’m terrible at) is how he truly swings with his body. Conventional 2-plane swing takes a ridiculous amount of timing & is just “plane” hard! I love this drill pro!
