J’suis tout à fait d’accord, j’aurais préféré aussi avoir une analyse de la vision des capitalistes pendant les crises dans ce film. Et aussi rajouter comment un système si vicieux peut nous détourner le cerveau quand on cède, c’est le cas de Leonardo quand il est devenu célèbre et il a commencé à cesser de vivre avec ses principes, et comment le monde de la célébrité et les lumières est en totale contradiction avec les valeurs (la présentatrice télé qui a vu en lui un potentiel).

I only see high quality comments in here which makes me happy and means that the community is growing. I find the movie as a pure critic to the actual world we live in, when social media is taking over and fake people are getting more attention than real ones. What i like the most was the going back to family and friends, and that at moment of total despair we stop chasing life and we go back to the most basics in our life. Mis à part l'intelligence et la satire de ce film qui poussent à la réflexion sur une pléthore d'aspects de la société, on passe un excellent moment aussi grâce à la réalisation toujours surprenante. Plusieurs transitions m'ont fait sourire tant elles aussi sont lourdes de sens, ce qui a évité que le film soit juste un énième film d'apocalypse.

Thank you for the wonderful content, and to go back to the movie especially the religion vs Science duality and how can the good knowledge of one lead to another (when Dr. Mindy accepted his fate and prayed during the last supper being sure that it was the end) meanwhile those who claim to have the ultimate knowledge actually have none (when Sir. Isherwell tells Dr.Mindy that he will die alone but by the end we see him sharing his death moment with his family and friend) Finally, I see that this movie has a happy ending because the end is a fatality and it's all about where it finds you (surrounded by your family and friends, or alone waiting for your mom to come back) I wish you all a happy new year and keep it up ❤❤

I liked the film ❤️ It has a clear message of the time we live in, that we care about an interest at the expense of humanity. And also we care about trivialities more than things that benefit us until we fall into a predicament and then start thinking of a solution. But the thing that pissed me off is the movie montage, which cuts clips before they're done. For example, they did not leave a character until she finished talking sometimes. And sometimes they get it wrong in arranging the shots which makes you feel a headache. Like you are floating or have a confused mind. In understanding what is going on. But regardless of all this, it is the best movie of 2021. And a fabulous performance by Leonardo DiCaprio I nominate him for. Oscar for Best Actor in 2021....

This movie took me back to pulp fiction the satiric movie about mafias in the US, but in this one the satiric part is about the politicians and the rich.That's why i would call it Pulp Fiction 2.0 without taking into consideration the atypical story telling on Tarantino's movie. Dear, thx a lot for your amazing content! I wanna share a point that it was going through my mind while watching this movie... Netflix being a pro-zionist corporation, and this amazing production being a Netflix one. it made feel that this is one of those moves that show you shamelessly how the "lobby" manipulates the future of humanity without the minimal care about what you think or how do you feel when they impact you... think about the General who received 10 bucks from the guys for the snacks.. Debiasky found it extremely none-sense.. until she realised that "maybe he has done it and he knew they will know, but he has done it anyway, simply to show his power"... IMHO the message in this movie, and in few other Netflix production is the following: "we f***ed you up, now we want you to know that we know that we f***ed you, and you still cant do nothing about it"

In Don't look up, the burlesque was taken to a whole new level, but I think that the fantasy of the apocalyptic theme (especially in the epilogue happening 22000 years later) seemed much more supernatural and metahuman. However, I think McKay was aware of that, and therefore tried to humanize his characters as much as possible, for instance by making the almost-perfect, smart, affectionate, wise Dr Mindy cheat on his wife; the strong-willed responsible Kate start an affair right before the impact...

in my opinion the last scene of the movie has nothing to do with jesus and last supper or any religious story , i think the director wants to show us how the fantasy ( beliefs) can comfort people and make them United even in bad times . The dinner and the prayer was just a temporary escape from the reality .
