Fofana has that long range passing range to control tempo from deep(6 position)and the step inside of players to by pass them to create transition to box to box 8 we need. He'd be great next to Rice. pure strength and steel

this is a must-buy. he's the type of player for arsenal where if we leave the transfer window without him or someone similar then the window was 100% a failure. unreal baller. would do so well for us.

He plays like a younger Partey with a better engine. Like Partey, he has great movement in tight spaces, eye for forward passing, decent tackler & low card count, Iin an expensive dm market Fofana's pricing at 40m is a huge bargain incomparison to Bruno at Castle for 80m.

He’s nothing like Partey, good engine. But a diagonal ball merchant. Which Arteta hates; fofana doesn’t play at all how the team would like; not to say he can’t be melded. Great at tackling, but doesn’t have an eye to pass through the lines which Arteta requires at 6. 100% sure we don’t sign him next summer.

Why is everyone saying new partey? Hes nothing like him at all, he cant pass the ball direct like Partey most of them are long Diagonal passes which is not how we play. Hes a good tackler but we need more than that.

Yeah he’s more rigid/athletic than Partey but Partey is more silky/calculated. I do see the similarities though

I can't even get excited at seeing this players, I always remember Ndombele and Boubakari Soumari who failed to live up to expectation in the premier league. You watch their videos and there were some talented players. N there's Bakayoko at Celsea

Soumare was ridiculously talented. When these kind of players come to the prem they lose all freedom because of being coached into obscurity. Fofana looks like he fits our profile

Didn't you see how he bossed Arsenal in that 1-1 draw? Guy made Partey and Rice look pedestrian. His physical is made for the premiere league
