I didn't even realise this song fit them SO WELL. The part where kaeya smiled and then immediately hated himself for it and that entire ending chorus had me crying. I'm still crying. Amazingly done

you know, with how everyone believes kaeya is gonna die, i feel like mihoyo will kill diluc for it...a very real intuitive feeling...and it'd hit harder coz no one expected it.

I feel like Kaeya is still going to die though. I mean, the character that Kaeya is based on fails his mission and drowns. Hoyo must've based Kaeya off of him for a reason, so he probably will die and fail his mission too.

I also used to think this way...unfortunately, the odds are if any of the two will end up dying, it'll be Kaeya: if you look closely, he has no stable place of his own in Mondstadt, even his role in the Knights is the same as Diluc before his resignation, meaning if...he gets taken out of the picture...things will basically stay the same. Another huge concern of mine is Kaeya being a starter character: if they killed off any 5 star even a standard banner one, people would complain saying they payed money for a character that's not even in the story anymore, whereas if they were to kill a starter character they could avoid that argument completely...Still...is it absolutely necessary for one of those two to die?...

If smth big doesn't happen around those two, I'm afraid Diluc will never realize, what kind of horrible mistake he made by shutting Kaeya outside of his life. I think losing Kaeya might be the only thing that will wake him up...😢 I love kaeya so much, don't get me wrong. I absolutely don't want him to die. It's just I'm so tired of the issues between them, bc no matter how hard Kaeya tries, Diluc refuses to listen, talk or even see him...😭

@@alodhpbaru4035 well, it’s definitely not confirmed or anything, but his backstory hints at him having a really big role in the game’s story, and following hoyoverse’s track record with honkai impact, it gives him major red flags for death to a lot of us kaeya stans
