YOUTH MONTH | Young MPs speak on GNU

The South African government is slowly taking shape following the May polls.
This month elected members from political parties who won seats in parliament were sworn-in as members of parliament.
Our focus today are the young MPs under 35 and young people as they make up more than two thirds of population of South Africa.
To unpack this further, two MPs under 35 join us on teams. that's, EFF member and Member of Parliament Sharon Letlape and ANCYL NEC and Member of Parliament Lufefe Mkutu.

These young members of parliment provide so much hope for the future of South Africa and the world. They both speak so well to why the ANC became splintered but also to what must be the best of the EFF and the best of the ANC. Ms Letlape is a strong advocate for youth enpowerment and no doubt will be successful in making necessary policy changes to improve education opportunities and employment for her constiuency and SA in general. Mr Mkutu is also so very impressive in his perspective of representing the collective first and not just himself. His defense of his party is admirable. The future of SA looks so much brighter after seeing these champions of the people❤.

Mr Mkutu's ANC youth league proposal of curtailing the exportation of raw minerals and increasing the value of minerals inside the country before export seems like a great policy proposal to increase jobs as he says. This seems like an evidence-based policy that has proven to lift other countries whose economies were suffering. Do not ship so much raw material including minerals. Build the manufacturing processes inside the country to keep these jobs at home.
