In the pistol your QB can read the defensive End and keep it in the playside b or c gap; He can read ILB and keep it up the middle.

Absolutely! It's a great way to pressure the defense and utilize an athletic QB. However, we won't have our QB read on the younger age levels. If I coached high school I would love some sort of read off of jet sweep.

I'm curious why you off set the FB to the strong side?

Silas Clayton gives us an extra blocker at the point of attack. Instead of pulling the backside guard like true power, we’ll just lead with our FB. You could have him fake trap opposite of the play side and just insert the play-side wing. We set the FB offset to the strength on jet sweep as well. So this will trick the defense into thinking it’s going to be jet sweep, which makes the widen and we hit inside.
