I fully agree, even I had bad experience this year, being GSB I had to wait for 2 hours outside. The GSB queue had more of non GSB’s. Again the movement was not smooth lot of rush and push in the queue. Priorities are given to others and GSB has no priority. My request is to re look into this practice and give priority to GSB with exclusive entry. 🙏🏻

Even I had very bad experience in Day 2 we came from Bangalore to get darshana of Ganapathi Bappa. No priority given for senior citizens & outsiders. Even we had requested people who were sitting in main gate. I requested them that we came from Bangalore with my senior citizen Mom & friend. First they said wait 30 minutes😮 after 30 minutes again I requested them person sitting in main gate behaved very rudely treated us like beggar. I requested them that My mom is senior citizen and we came from Bangalore, one person reacted like this " takka ammi kasan Korka". Another person reacted like this " Tugele goskara tangelaggi pettu kavche hav ready na".Is this culture of seva Mandal to treat Senior Citizens & outsiders. We didn't get darshan on that day, However very next day early morning we visited & again in main gate we requested with security person who is non GSBian he helped us to take darshan. We had good darshana & tulabhara seva on that day & in pendal many volunteers helped us. We had bad experience Bcos of few volunteers especially in security team. Please train them how to behave with outsiders and GSB people. We are not beggars. There may be 99.99% good volunteers in seva Mandal, This mismanagement Bcos of few volunteers especially in security team.

You are completely right.Only if you maintain good relationship with few known prominent volunteers one can easily access the route from the entry point to seva and then to VIP anna bhojan. This is typical for both non-GSBs and GSBs.If not, you must use push and pull in general wider seva Dar line. There was no briefing or training imparted to volunteers in security department. Some hardly speak Konkani and does not know how to respect fellow GSB devotees.

I was so excited to visit GSB mandal this year. But was very disapointed with the experience here. I had already booked online seva..Inspite of waiting in line for more than 1 hr, when our chance came to take prasad, we were not even allowed to stand for 2 min to pray to ganpati bappa or click photo. The lady security guards and volunteers were continously telling to move ahead. It was very disapointing. Only celebrities, influential people and people known to volunteers are given more preference and easy darshan. There was no proper crowd management. We couldnt even wait there for few mins after darshan as security guards were teling to move towards exit gate..

It’s always the same every year..volunteers/security people are very very rude and VIP treatments given to few people when every person is same in the eyes of god…I did volunteering for 2 years there but never ever spoke rudely with anyone..priority is given to people having money

Yes, even i had to face rude behavior from one of the volunteer. I just asked do we have separate line for GSB community to take prasad. The volunteer rudely said don't expect special treatment for GSB people. He could have answered in yes or no but he keep on talking about how we have to keep patience for darshan n prasad. We are well aware it is very difficult such a huge rush but such rude behavior will not be accepted. Yes even i support not putting GSB ganpati rather put ganpati utsav by GSB sabha. Is it not possible to have separate line through out from enterance till prasad collection for GSB people? Yes god is for every human being with same faith but as u take volunteer only of GSB people then why not separate line for GSB people. Please do think on this.

Yes i fully agree with R G Bhatmaam..our gsb baapa is growing leeps and bounds blessings our gsb community...they are managing their best..its not easy to manage the way they manage our all pooja events Yes they get huge donations but its because people are getting good experience sucess with baapa blessings Nd its managed welll... This time I had very bad experience this year no proper management volunteers talking rudely no nothing for senior citizens they have to stand in que for long and I also saw other people were going directly from VIP lines ,I am devotee from last 10 years but this year was not good like I said,so I will request on a positive manner to GSB authority pls look into this ganapati morya 🙏🕉️

We are visiting pandal & volunteers from last 15yrs. This year we had very bad experience. Volunteers at gate security were very rude. On Day2 , we reached pandal around 12 pm some volunteers asked us to wait 10mins for entry . Post 15mins we were insulted as "tumi volunteers itli late kasle yetati..volunteers should be present in the morning..baschya yetati ve.." No respect even to senior citizens.. We come to Gsb to take darshan of amgelu devu.. But this year we felt as beggars just to have darshan.. Even after visiting 5 days we didn't had darshan for 5 mins in 5 days total. We are not asking for any special treatment.. Volunteers should be trained to be polite to all devotees especially gate volunteers.. Other than that very great management 👍 Ganpati Bappa Morya🙏🏻

Many GSB samaj bandhavas have always faced issue. It is evident from such a video. This is not the first year GSB bandhavas have faced issue. It happens every year. Volunteers probably get no induction. Due to which most of the times they are unaware and confuse the devotees or don’t attend them at all. This is the primary cause of chaos and discontent. Secondly there’s no dedicated Samradhana area for GSBs. Facilities that exist for only GSB have never been publicly published in any of the newsletter till date. I have had my bad experiences despite asking volunteers for help. It’s a very commendable thing to say we accept criticism. But sometimes good is just not enough. If for ages same problem exist then something isn’t going right. Having said that there’s no discredit to all the people who put in honest efforts to conduct an event at this scale. Also GSB as a community has long standing history of great people and several micro GSB mandals who have worked hard for the betterment of community. Our mutts and swamiji has done hard work in building values and strengthening the community. So GSB isn’t synonymous with just this event. Just that I happen to see this video I am putting my personal views out of personal experience.

Well said R.G.Bhat Maam......One of the best managed G.S.B Mandals...........Another name for trust and sincerity........Most of the 3,500 volunteers are selfless and go that extra mile just to ensure that visitors are taken good care of..Every year immediately after the event, the organisers also conduct a feedback session and factor it for improvements next year.....This year the Tulabhara seva space has been moved in order to create space for devotees to have a good view of Lord Ganapati even from a distance.....This must have been carried based on last year's feedback....👌👌👌🙏🙏🙏

Appreciate team putting efforts to understand criticism . Look forward for smooth queue for GSB next year and better treatment 😊 Our experience has been bad as committee member shouted at us in Hindi on day 1 at 9am . He assumed we were bypassing queue which we never did 😢

Only vip and celebrity are given good Darshan here . Normal people even gsb people are pushed and yelled at . This has become commercial where celebs are treated like god.since you’re saying learn from criticism stop idolising puja Hegde’s and other celebs if they come to the pandal . Gsb are not allowed to enter and have to stand for hours . I got groped and pushed , very upset with this pandal this time .

Keyboard warriors it seems. 😂 Thesr keyboard warriors experienced 2 to 3 hours of really gruesome experience, long queues, wait times, and have come to mention it. It is what it is, accept it, no use being egoistic. The arrangements this year was the worst. Aishwarya Rai, Pooja Hegde get VIP treatment and then you treat all amchis so badly. Maybe you'll see very less Amchis next year if arrangements remain so poor and you take the community folks for granted. Don't appease the celebrities and be so much focussed on collecting money from amchis if you treat the fellow community folks like this.
