Problem is trying to appeal to KZbin is like screaming at the wind. All the support in the world doesn't change a machine's mind, and YT is _literally_ a machine. The only humans there are the ones that maintain that machine and a handful of customer service that have no power to change anything.

We've gone from "the customer is always right" to "deal with it! We're not going to do anything to fix it!" From what I know, you can only have 1 adsense account for the address but you can have multiple websites/channels using that same adsense for yourself. What you could do is create a business with a business license and register adsense for your business. That way you could technically have multiple different adsense under the same address.

Atlanta, delete your account. Start over, and use a family members address or PO Box (if available in New Zealand), to relaunch. Your other channel is new enough, you will get your subscribers back easily. Keep the videos and reupload when the new channel created. :) Also, if you plan to veer off cooking, it might be best to start a channel like "Atlanta's Adventures" vs "Atlanta's Kitchen". That way it can encompass a lot of different things. Use categories within your channel for specific topics. Like Atlanta's Kitchen or Atlanta's Travels. :)

One of the things I hate most about KZbin as a company is they clearly don’t value their creators at all. Even though it shouldn’t even matter how big a channel is, I personally know people with well over a few million subscribers that have had issues in the past and were given the same cold shoulder. Sam and Nadine, I hope you see this comment. This is a Google account issue, and you want to move very carefully once you've suffered a Google account violation. Even if the violation wasn't intended, step carefully. If Google deems it a violation, you don't want to do anything that will get your MAIN AdSense account banned, like doing the same setup again. Google don't mess around. Please take a beat, and do some research on your specific issues, as it's likely something technical. When I started with AdWords almost 20 years ago, people would get banned (permanently) for things like the same IP address on 2 accounts, so it won't be obvious, and Google is NOTORIOUS for never answering questions regarding account violations. Wishing you all luck in getting the channel monetizing again.

KZbin in the US treats each channel as a business, if one channel is already monetized under a specific IP address they likely won't monetize the same IP address twice. It's like how when you do one of those lottery things where there are multiple winners, they'll say one per household, that way 5 people from the same household can't win. There are a ton of big youtubers with multiple side channels, they often either have the side channel under a different IP or they treat their side channel as a sort of throw away since they can't really get anything monetized on it anyways. Basically, they're trying to prevent situations where people would be making like 4 accounts and uploading the same stuff across all 4 and being paid for all 4.

@ no because there’s no way to skip past the commercials without a paid membership on KZbin now if they are promoting something on their channel and they are actively talking about it and you can skip through it. It will show that somebody has skipped through the promotion, but it will not go against them as long as they still post with that promotion in their video they will get paid

It's not incompetence. Well, partly. It's because a woman, who died earlier this year, ran it can completely ruined it as a whole. The past three male ceo's ran this app like a charm, but not susan. She did the opposite. I'm glad she's gone. But now the new guy has to step in, and so far, he ain't doin much either...hell, even coppa wasnt a thing until 2020 when susan got wind that kids under 13 were using youtube and not youtube kids. That's what really killed youtube. Further backing the reason, a woman who doesnt have a business degree run a multimillion dollar company.

Just discovered your channel today and gladly subscribed! This is reaching you a little late but whenever I get an answer from a first-level support agent that I feel is incorrect or inappropriate, I escalate the chat or call to a supervisor. Almost all CS organizations have a hierarchy and the first one to engage you is often only prepared to give you boilerplate responses and may not be familiar with all the rules.. The right level of supervision can sometimes work wonders (or at least be fair and apply some common sense. It's unfortunate that KZbin makes it difficult for creators at times. Okay guys, In US KZbin operates each independent channel as individual businesses and they follow business law. You IP address and address are maybe both issues. IP that is connecting to KZbin is the same, but being monetized twice which would be against policy. Address may be something similar if you have to register each account to an independent address (not as likely) Different ISP plan for Atlanta, both have different static IP addresses and should fix the issue. Love the content!!

There are lots of creators that upload from coffee shops etc. The ISP shouldn't make a difference.

@ this is true I assumed they are not jumping from IP to IP. They would be using their own internet connection I would assume.

IP addresses have NOTHING to do with anything. My guess it might be an age issue.

There are so many KZbinrs who live together in the same location but maintain separate accounts. I don’t know if they’re still a thing but there used to be houses with multiple creators all living together but running their separate accounts. I guess maybe they’re cracking down on that now?

They are hiding up votes and comments even if the comments are extremely tame. I think they are trying to make content on certain channels seem unpopular by hiding any support.

Sorry you experienced that. I have also had trouble monetizing my 2nd channel (now at 25k subs) because they said I took some of my content from other sites but it's all 100% shot by me. Showing support and subbed to her channel.
