Nope, this is Lucas Crandles, the writer and director of Black Button and other DHP films. The actor in BB is Hayden Grubb, who is the co-writer of the film and is the son of Robert Grubb (the Man Behind the Desk). Voting is now closed. It looks almost certain we'll be doing the film set in 1874 next, working title 'Of Land and Bounty'. We're getting a professional producer in for this one and applying for funding. Hope to have it done by mid-year. Thanks for your comments on our films Martin, much appreciated!

I just got done watching the contest winner and I really can't see what was so great about it. I think that Black Button was much better, not saying that my name is lisa is a bad film but I can't see why it beat Black Button.

im really sorry that your guy's film didnt make it it was soooo much better than my name is lisa...i mean that was a deep and very real topic but the actual movie...in my opinion just sucked Black Button was way more entertaining...keep the movies coming!
