I found your fathers video on making necks and hit subscribe so I could learn more only to find this video. Crazy thing about youtube is that its kinda forever. I've personally been doing woodworking for about 5 years now and always looking for another interesting project. I started watching these cigar box guitar videos last year and noticed that people all over the world are doing these type of builds. Today I found your father's videos and was very impressed with his methods. When I watched this video, it broke my old heart, because I'm also 57 years old and these hobbies are also my retirement passion. Your message really sent the tears and I hope that you will someday find your own interests in a hobby like this. Your father seems like he was an amazing person. Good luck young man and I hope that whatever you decide to be your life's path is successful and rewarding.

Moses would be very proud of your courage, and courageousness in giving us all the sad news of your father's passing. Its strange how someone I never met could be so important in so many lives. His mannmannerisms and grace are surely evident in you Eric. Your Dad spread a lot of love through his video lessons and weekly concerts, and through them he will live on with his subscribers. The good ones always leave us far too quickly, and require our strength to carry on in this crazy world. You ,Eric, will be in my prayers, as well as your family. And your father will have a special place in my memory. I found his channel too late, but loved all his spirit and joy that he exuded. I miss you more than you can imagine Moses...God bless you my friend. Till we meet in that heavenly band, and you can teach me again, I remain your sad but grateful student. Mike from Boston.

I discovered this channel recently, and was struck by his craftsmanship, creativity and passion for building and playing the amazing songs he wrote. I will miss him, as will so many he touched, but I am grateful to have saved his videos (for tips, lessons and songs). And consider keeping at least one of those guitars- you never know when you might want to pick it up....
