That was fantastic. I had one thought about modding though. One: is it possible to make a double cherry carry over through levels? And two: is it possible to give a character new abilities? I assume it’d be very difficult to do either but I’m curious.

Great question! I haven't tried to do either yet, but I'd guess the second one would be easier to do because the values for the abilities of players (floating, jumping, etc) are stored in the PlayerConst file. Making double cherries carry over between levels would probably be a lot harder because (iirc) double cherry clones disappear when you complete a level, and getting a double cherry on the world map causes the game to crash

I noticed neither had been tried yet so I wanted to see if I could point it out! Hopefully it’s not as crazy difficult as it sounds, because given characters new abilities could completely change modded levels (such as giving a character a Yoshi flutter jump or something, or even just changing some values) Keep up these fantastic modding videos, I always love seeing the things you attempt!
