YouTube GOLD - Mine site Mayhem: the "Safety" Inspector & New Equipment (S2 E3) | RC ADVENTURES

The new equipment came in to make our mine site even more crazy than it was before. #YTG2019 (season 2) is in full mining mode now.. and we are starting to test the equipments limits. Little did I know the safety inspector was coming out to the site today. I tried to distract him with learning how to use the D10 Dozer.. and he seemed to take a shine to it. He was mostly involved with opening the new cut.. but what can you do about these Canadian inspectors. You gotta grease a few palms to get any kind of gold action around here with out having to go through a bunch of red tape. I have a new Material Hopper and Conveyor System and yes, it is very expensive. But when you are in the mining game - money is no object when you have a goal in mind... The only thing is.. you got to be getting the GOLD.

A few of the things that are not staged is our friendship, the laughter, camaraderie, and of course.. THE GOLD! (Yes, it's real pay dirt). The true Gold is the experience we get as friends, what we hope the viewers get watching a group of goofballs entertain them with some very cool toys. Really fun to watch! My only suggestion would be if you're going to really move your system and you want the trucks to go underneath then you need a little bit of a dip that I would carve out ahead of time so that your equipment can roll through underneath without a problem. Great work!

Incredible episode. Maybe the laughs outweighed the gold, but hey that’s the idea. So I saw a video of some German RC guys moving dirt with a setup that would save some time-they had a machine like the new receiver/conveyer level with a higher area, in this case the the top of the road, so the machines could just take pay from the cut and essentially “dump it off a cliff,” which is to say right into the machine level with the “cliff,” feeding a conveyer to the shaker or trommel. Just an idea for the $1000 investment...more pay, less driving.

Yeah man! That's the idea, they built the two levels with RC just like you built the retaining walls/road. The top of the dump bin is right on level with the higher level of an existing or new retaining wall. Ok, i cant keep watching before i have written this xD, the material handler is totally the wrong way round, since the way you have it now would put any large rocks and materials to big for the screener would fall down on the path of where you're driving the machines through. Also personally i think it would be better used for the excavator, since you could either just have the material handler load onto the white conveyor and into the white shaker, or, you use the material handler way up where you're clearing ground, have the excavator up there loading it, then onto the white conveyor, into the red conveyor, and then into the shaker, and you keep the trommel loaded by the tractor. and this way the load of the excavator would be better spead out over the conveyors, and you wouldent get as big of a pile on them anyways gonna continue watching now. have a good one and awesome episodes as always :D
