@@hapokas882That's what I thought at first, but Natasha revealed in a video that she's "comfortable" with the oppression of speech in Russia... unbelievable! That's the moment I turned against her because exactly people like her are responsible for what's going on in Russia! Slava Ukraine! God bless democracy!

@@natasha-rostova why should Donte to you with Putin in charge of Russia, the poor Ukraine people are suffering because of him the people in Russia have been brainwashed and don’t know the truth. Human lives have been lost every day 1000 on Russia side and 800 in Ukraine side with children been killed also sorry Natasha but that is the facts I am afraid. You may not like my comments that’s it.

You may well put that question to the Russian pilots and rocket operators who fired rockets at Ukrainian power stations in 2022, 2023, 2024 , hoping to destroy the electric grid here in Ukraine and freeze millions of people. And residential buildings were targeted by the Russians, as well.

Having people criticize you or even hate you means you've become relevant enough to attract them. ;) Also, there's a Latin quote that always fits, it goes "Condemnant quo non intellegunt." which means "They condemn what they don't understand." It's universal, I think. Don't listen to them too much. Most people you wouldn't trust or ask for advice irl, so you shouldn't take their criticism too seriously either. But honestly, you seem like such a nice, gentle, and kind person that it's a shame you don't live right down the street from me. I could spoil you with cookies because I made way too many this year. haha Seriously, I ended up making two boxes of cookies because apparently the recipe was for 4 people and it literally said that, but I was in such a baking mood that it's enough for two winters now. xD

Your English is certainly good enough to carry on a conversation with any native English speaker. Yes, you have an accent but that does not prevent you from being understood. Watching English movies or tv would probably help and reading novels in English would help if you enjoyed the story - something like Jane Austin's 'Pride and Prejudice'.

Your English speaking skills are excellent, don't be so hard on yourself. Regarding reading there are several series of books aimed at language learners from absolute beginners to more advanced levels. Sometimes they are simplified versions of original books and sometimes they are written from scratch. I have some of them in different, foreign languages. Another trick is to start reading non-fiction books such as history since the language in such books can be less challenging. You could try to find books on English history, for example.

This looks very serene. I guess it can't be far from the tanker spill(s)? Ecologically how is the area doing? Economically, how will the spills affect the area if the beaches and wildlife are needed to be cleared up? Are they being cleared up? Is this area very dependent on tourism. Culturally the area looks/feels/seems very different from areas of Russia (is it technically, religiously different? The lamb good. Good video, many thanks.

Interesting video, Natasha. Thank you for deleting negative comments directed at your supporters. Your English is fine, I'm sure we can all understand you. English is not a very regular or logical language. Our spellings aren't phonetic. Partly this is because originally English, like Russian, wasn't meant to be spelled with the Roman alphabet. In our old Runic alphabet, there was one letter for K, not the three Roman ones we currently have, K, hard C and Q. Also, we had one letter for the hard TH, and one for the soft TH.

One of your videos you were showing around your flat, it’s a good price but it’s very small but most flats are like that in Russia. I live in a 3 bedroom town house the cost is £360, 000 which I own, it’s better own a property than rent , because houses here go up every year approximately 7% to 9 % a year so a good investment . I also have house in Philippines which me and my wife go during the winter months which cost approximately £90,000 . Service charges are very expensive in UK £300 a month. Internet £55 a month. Electric & Gas £135 a month. House insurance in cases of damage or theft £11 a month. This just an example of what it costs in UK. God bless and hope you had a good Christmas and a hoppy new year. Especially with all these unnecessary wars going on in the world. Geraint X

@TcSearch the problem with people like you is that you don't know anything and just repeat what the western propaganda wants you to believe. There's more democracy in Russia than in the collective West, that's a fact! For instance: while in western countries russian news media are banned, russians are free to read any western news (Facebook has widely clearly showed that only a restricted range of points of view is allowed on the platform, so it's not so bad that russian citizens are prevented from wasting their time on it). I live in Italy and Germany, I've travelled and I know the USA and Russia fairly well; I've been in Moscow even recently. It gets a bit on my nerves when I read comments like yours, so, please, be kind and don't talk about something you haven't directly experienced, thus showing off your ignorance and arrogance!

How effective are VPNs? Are they costly or hard to get there? For New Years/Xmas how will you celebrate? What is typical there? What is the anatomy of a Russian New Years celebration there? Food, rituals etc. are there any local differences/specialities specific to your area? Many thanks for the video. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

They work fine. Mostly people prefer free VPN, but some people pay for them .

Hi Natasha: Some people are very judgemental about appearance. Concerning your appearance you are a very attractive lady with red hair. What matters more is that you are communicating valuable details about Russian society and the day to day problems of living in your country. As for the quality of your videos, your posts are very good as your English is good. Continue to share and to work on reading your favourite books. KZbin is tougher on video bloggers in Canada as a person has to avoid making negative comments about the government, so we have much in common lovely Natasha.

I speak English almost every day, but my colleagues speak both Russian and English, so I don't develop my English skills. However, there is an advantage, I'm not ashamed that my English is not perfect, who is to judge me. I have the rights of an old man, I don't care how I speak.
