Hi Desiree, You did another great video. I really enjoyed it. I prefer to rent also. If something needs to be fixed or replaced, I just let the landlord know and have the landlord take care of it. I like that I dont have to worry about fixing or replacing anything and have it come out of my pocket. I don't get stressed out about it.

I think it depends on what area of the country you live in. I'm in west Texas and for us with 3 kids we would be paying week over $2,000 for a 3 bedroom apartment. We bought a 3 bedroom house a year and a half ago on an acre and only pay $1,300. People just don't comprehend other people's situations lol.

Omg I was just about to say this! One of my friends finally got a house after this kept happening and the one she got was $750k and needed all the electrical replaced before she even moved in…the previous owners also left all the things they didn’t want like large furniture for them to dispose of. You basically get the short end of the stick when it comes to options here so I’m not going to just buy a house to buy a house when I have a certain house in mind that I want to live in, also location is important too. My mom lives in a nice area and she lives in a normal nice house that is worth over a million…it seriously makes no sense

They are talking about houses that are on the market for sale. Investors will come and buy the house over asking or pay in cash so the sellers will of course take those offers. Regular people can’t compete with that.

Hubby got orders to Florida back in 2018 and we were living in San Diego…. became homeowners and it was the best move ever. I do miss home sometimes but yes I agree with you when I visit my fam I’m like omg you guys literally own 2 houses with the amount they pay for an apartment 😭😭😭 it’s crazy! When I left San Diego I was paying 2200 for a town house and that’s double my mortgage here🙈 take your time when buying a home!!!! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 been loving all your content lately 🌷

I’ve already done that! I was put on a waitlist list last year but there are only a handful of 2 bedroom apartments so they don’t open up as frequently. Also, they are located towards the back of the complex which is by the dog run…not a fan of that which is why I’m just looking elsewhere.

They do! But they are very limited in availability. I am on the waitlist, but there are a couple of other reasons why I don't want to stay at this apartment complex. I want laundry in unit which we don't have and also central air. It would also be nice to move into a place that has more updated appliances. Also the 2 bedroom apartments here are located next to the dog run....I definitely don't want to be near there😅

$20 a week for coffee isn't bad at all, houses are great once you pay it off and have money set aside for maintenance, but nothing wrong with renting either especially if you feel fine doing so.

They do! I’m on the waitlist but I also want to just upgrade my living situation. I’m paying a lot already for no laundry in unit, no central air, no updated appliances. The new place I’m looking at has all of this for maybe a few hundred more plus an extra room so that’s why I want to move. Even though I do like it where I currently live I need to make this change.

If I get all my hours this is literally how much I get paid in a month that she’s stuffing. Believe it or not according to google,timeline in your own (I assume comfortably) in South Carolina, you need to make about 35 grand depending on the area. I made only 23 last year, thankfully I live with my parents. They took over 2 grand of taxes out of me last year and I still owe them three dollars

This is just a suggestion, but do you consider yourself having a health/medical envelope? I say that cause what if you happened to have surgery in the future or if something was to happen and you have a doctor bill? You pull from the health/medical envelope. I have one when I go to checkups for the Doctor, Dental, Vision. I love your videos. You're doing a fantastic job! ❤

​@@suzawilo, i don't think an emergency should be used for dental, vision, or health/medical. That's why a health/medical envelope would be good. An emergency envelope is something for if your car got damaged in a wreck and the bill is $2,500. I don't believe an emergency envelope should be used for dental, vision, or health care reasons. But that's my opinion. It's just a suggestion that I said about putting in a health care envelope. 😊
