KZbin isn't an account with fans though... it's the infrastructure where creators come and build communities, but KZbin isn't the community itself. It's simply way too big of a place to pick favorites and say "this is KZbin" - they did that in the past and everyone hated it (understandably - it was cheesy, and alienated a lot people). At least by going off the numbers, it's an honest and accurate representation of what YT is and it puts the focus on the creators than on KZbin's opinion.

I’ll take this as an improvement but it’s still a sad attempt? This site has become so disconnected from it’s creators and audience, lost it’s authentic feeling 🤷🏻‍♀️ Edit: I mean I appreciate the fact that it did showcase some good moments and incorporated people who deserve it but I have to agree with people who say this is a glorified top ten video. I’m not mad at this and in some way I consider it a small win but something still feels not right. The only amazing thing about this video is there aren’t any tv show hosts for once LMAO
